"Timeless" Airs Mondays 10/9c on @NBC !

This post was sponsored by the Role Mommy Writer's Network.

I am a big history buff so I when I saw a that a new TV show is coming that involves a lot of important history and traveling back in time, I was instantly intrigued and immediately put it on my new Fall TV To Watch! This new show is called Timeless and it premieres TODAY, Monday at 10/9c on NBC!

From Eric Kripke ("Revolution," "Supernatural"), Shawn Ryan ("The Shield") and the producers of "The Blacklist" comes this thrilling action-adventure series in which a mysterious criminal steals a secret state-of-the-art time machine, intent on destroying America as we know it by changing the past. Our only hope is an unexpected team: a scientist, a soldier and a history professor who use the machine's prototype to travel back in time to critical events. While they must make every effort not to affect the past themselves, they must also stay one step ahead of this dangerous fugitive. Can this handpicked team uncover the mystery behind it all and end his destruction before it's too late?

The cast includes Abigail Spencer, Matt Lanter, Malcolm Barrett, Goran Visnjic, Paterson Joseph, Sakina Jaffrey and Claudia Doumit.

Eric Kripke and Shawn Ryan serve as writers and executive producers. John Davis, John Fox, Marney Hochman and Director Neil Marshall also executive produce. "Timeless" is produced by Davis Entertainment, Kripke Enterprises and MiddKid Productions in association with Sony Pictures Television.

I love that this show also features a strong heroine, Abigal Spencer as Lucy and I can't help being intrigued by a potential relationship between Lucy and Wyatt Logan (Matt Lanter’s character). I am such a sucker for a budding romance! :)

Make sure to check out the trailer below - you will get sucked in like I did!

Like I mentioned, the first episode debuts today: “The Assassination of Abraham Lincoln” airs Monday, October 10 at 10/9c on NBC.

THE TEAM CAN SAVE THE LIFE OF ONE OF HISTORY’S GREATEST MEN.

Lucy (Abigail Spencer), Wyatt (Matt Lanter), and Rufus (Malcolm Barrett) chase terrorist Garcia Flynn (Goran Višnjić) to the night of Lincoln’s assassination, where they’re horrified to learn that Flynn’s linked up with history’s most notorious assassin, John Wilkes Booth (guest star Kelly Blatz). Putting aside a tragedy of her own, Lucy speculates that Flynn intends to send the fragile nation into chaos by making a bad thing worse, and a debate rages among the team: should they alter history if it means changing it for the better? Also starring Paterson Joseph, Sakina Jaffrey and Claudia Doumit. Guest starring Neal Bledsoe, Michael Krebs, Terry Lewis and Lucia Frangione.

I haven't been this excited for a new show in a long time and I am so excited to have a new show to watch this Fall!

If you are intrigued, love history or just love a strong woman character, check out Timeless TONIGHT and every Monday at 10/9c on NBC!

This post was sponsored by the Role Mommy Writer's Campaign.

CASTAWAYS EMBARK ON THE MOST GRUELING 39 DAYS IN “SURVIVOR”HISTORY, ON A SPECIAL 90-MINUTE SEASON PREMIERE OF “SURVIVOR," WEDNESDAY, FEB. 17

Are you a "Survivor" Fan??

Well then get excited because the season premiere is TONIGHT!!!

Castaways embark on the most grueling 39 days in Survivor history and test whether brute strength, looks or smarts will be the attribute that helps capture the title of Sole Survivor. Also, one castaway deals with excruciating pain when a bug gets stuck in their ear, on SURVIVOR, when the Emmy Award-winning series returns for its 32nd season with a special 90-minute premiere, Wednesday, Feb. 17 (8:00-9:30 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

The spring edition of SURVIVOR, filmed on the island Kaôh Rōng in Cambodia, will be themed “Brains vs. Brawn vs. Beauty.” The location offers harsh conditions and relentless weather for the castaways, presenting one of the most physically grueling seasons in the show’s history. The groupings of the three tribes, each comprised of six castaways, possess similar characteristics that make their group unique – high IQ, muscular physique and physical looks –and test whether there is any truth to the pre-conceived notion that certain characteristics will help you win the game of SURVIVOR. All castaways will compete to outwit, outplay, outlast and ultimately be crowned Sole Survivor. Included on this season’s cast is an Army veteran, an emergency room doctor, a bounty hunter, a former FBI agent, a pro poker player, a superfan, a quantitative strategist and a former NBA champion.

The battle begins when these three tribes compete:

The Brains Tribe
Peter Baggenstos
Aubry Bracco
Joseph Del Campo
 Neal Gottlieb
Elisabeth Markham
Debbie Wanner

The Brawn Tribe
Cydney Gillon
Darnell Hamilton
Alecia Holden
Kyle Jason
Jennifer Lanzetti
Scot Pollard

The Beauty Tribe
Michele Fitzgerald
 Anna Khait
Nick Maiorano
Caleb Reynolds
Julia Sokolowski
Tai Trang

SURVIVOR is hosted as always by Emmy Award-winning host Jeff Probst and produced by SEG, Inc. Mark Burnett and Jeff Probst are executive producers

Survivor is the longest running reality-competition series and the show is remarkably consistent in the ratings due to the show’s loyal fans. In recent years, more families are watching the show together and there is a resurgence of excitement among the younger crowd.

I come from a really competitive, adventurous family and this show reminds me of something that we would do for fun as a family! I love that they have broken the team into Brains, Brawn, and Beauty. It will definitely be interesting to see how each compete against each other!

So, DON'T FORGET!

The new season of SURVIVOR: Kaoh Rong premieres TONIGHT with a special 90 minute episode on Wednesday, February 17 from 8PM – 9:30PM ET/PT on the CBS Television Network.

As Original vampire-werewolf hybrid Klaus Mikaelson returned to the vibrant, supernaturally charged city of New Orleans in season one, he was stunned to learn — along with his siblings Elijah and Rebekah — that Hayley, a werewolf, was pregnant with his child, and his vampire protégé, Marcel, whom the Original siblings had thought long dead, was ruling the French Quarter. Soon, a bloody war escalated between vampires and witches — the stakes raised by powerful teenage witch Davina and by Klaus’s bond with Cami, a student with a painful past — and a ruthless pack of wolves seized the opportunity to stage a violent coup. Now, in season two, a new status quo must be adjusted to, as the newly empowered werewolves control the city. Klaus struggles with weaknesses as Elijah desperately tries to save Hayley — now a hybrid — from a vicious spiral of self-destruction. Meanwhile, with the re-emergence of several Mikaelsons, “family is power” takes on new meaning.

Mark your Calendar! @TheDovekeepers airs 3/31 & 4/1

This post was sponsored by the Role Mommy Writer's Network.

I just finished reading a really good book, The Dovekeepers by Alice Hoffman and I can't wait to watch the event series that goes along with it! It will broadcast TOMORROW and Wednesday, March 31st and April 1st and it is from Executive Producers Roma Downey and Mark Burnett. two of my favorites! I can't wait to watch! Check out lots more info about the series below!

The project stars Cote de Pablo, Rachel Brosnahan and Kathryn Prescott in the title dovekeeper roles, Sam Neill as first-century Jewish scholar and historian Josephus, and Diego Boneta as a star warrior of the Jewish army at Masada. The series is based on Alice Hoffman’s bestselling, critically acclaimed historical novel about a group of extraordinary women whose lives intersect in a fight for survival at the siege of Masada.

Set in ancient Israel, THE DOVEKEEPERS is based on the true events at Masada in 70 C.E. After being forced out of their home in Jerusalem by the Romans, 900 Jews were ensconced in a fortress at Masada, a mountain in the Judean desert. Besieged at Masada, the Jews held out for months against the vast Roman armies. The project will recount the events from the perspective of a few extraordinary women who arrive at Masada with unique backstories, but a common bond for survival. Additionally, these women, who work together daily as dovekeepers, are all concealing substantial secrets.

Hoffman’s novel was published in 2011 by Scribner, an imprint of Simon & Schuster, earning the New York Times’ bestseller status and widespread critical acclaim, including being hailed by Nobel laureate Toni Morrison as “a major co ntribution to 21st century literature.”

THE DOVEKEEPERS will be brought to television from executive producers Roma Downey and multiple Emmy Award winner Mark Burnett (SURVIVOR, “The Voice”), the production team behind the Emmy-nominated 10-hour miniseries “The Bible,” which scored big ratings for the History Channel in March 2013, and the feature “Son of God.”

Frank Siracusa, John Weber and Yves Simoneau also serve as executive producers, with Simoneau directing. Ann Peacock adapted the novel for the screen.

THE DOVEKEEPERS is the first project from CBS Entertainment and CBS Television Studios’ Limited Series and Event Programming unit. It is a co-production between CBS Television Studios and LightWorkers Media, a division of United Artists Media Group.
