I can still remember when I was a kid and our basement flooded. It was a complete mess and it took hours and hours of clean up. It is a memory that has lasted for me forever and I now that I am a homeowner, it is a BIG fear I have every time we have a big storm!

But I have gotten some peace of mind now that I own the D-Link Wi-Fi Water Sensor!

The Wi-Fi Water Sensor (DCH-S160) is a compact device that plugs into an open power outlet and alerts users with a loud siren whenever it comes in contact with water. In addition to the audible siren with six different customizable tones, customers will also get push notifications with the free mydlink Home app on their smartphones or tablet to ensure they're aware of a water leak no matter their location.

The Wi-Fi Water Sensor can be placed near washing machines, sump pumps, water heaters, sinks, dishwashers, refrigerators, or anywhere in the home where a water leak may occur. The Water Sensor comes with two cables: a 3.3 feet extension cable and a specially designed 1.6 feet sensing cable that detects water along its entire length. When water is detected, a 70dB alarm will sound and an LED will flash to give users audio and visual warnings.

I was searching for a great way to give my son a way to release his extra energy this winter when he can't get outside for a walk or run! He has a lot of energy that gets bottled up in the winter and we already miss our daily walks! However, we don't have a lot of room in our small house so I needed a solution that was not only fun exercise but also small enough for a small room!

And not only does this trampoline release some energy, but it is educational! This indoor trampoline teaches preschool basics as children bounce out their boundless energy. I don't know about you, but it is starting to get hot and muggy in the house we live in but it just seems just a little early to turn the central air on (especially since we had snow 2 weeks ago)! So, what did I do instead? It was so EASY to set up and it instantly cooled down our room so we could sleep comfortably again!

You first start by setting up the window kit. It was easy to stick in the window and I loved that it blocked out heat and humidity from coming and fit snugly in the window.

You then fit in the exhaust hose and screw it into both the window kit and the air conditioner unit: both very easy to do also!

You are then ready to go! It is as easy as that!

There is also an activated carbon filter that can be installed. It is as easy as removing from the package and inserting it into the filter frame on the back! 

Then just turn on the unit On/Off button and away you go! Adjust the temperature up and down depending on what you want and even set a timer!

You can also set the speed or set it to sleep mode! The indicator lights tell you when the compressor kicks on and when the water tank is full! That is really helpful!

You can also adjust the front vents to shoot the air up or down!

Another really nice feature is how easy it is to move around! It has handles on both sides for lifting and wheels on the bottom for easy movement!
