My Opinion

Does it get any better than a cozy warm fire, snuggly blanket and a good book on a cold winter night??!!

It does get better if you have The Gift of Christmas Past in your hand while doing all those things!!!

Cindy Woodsmall is the queen of Amish fiction books so it was so fun to see her team up with Erin Woodsmall and write a Southern Romance! And as always, the book was a great read and so perfect for a cold winter night curled up by the fireplace!

I love the romance, the character development and interaction, what I learned about speech therapy, and the Christmas theme! This is a must-read this Christmas and would make a great Christmas gift idea as well!

My Opinion

Let me just start out saying there has never been a Becky Wade book that I didn't love! I am so happy to say that Her One and Only was no exception!

I absolutely love Dru being a strong female character that has to watch over a man and protect him! I love that Becky flipped the typical gender roles! And Gray being a football fan was another plus for me! Two of my favorite things: football and strong females!

And then you add in Becky Wade's amazing writing skills - there was no way this book could go wrong and it didn't! I love every book in this series about the Porters and this was a great book to finish off the series. Although, I am very sad to say goodbye to the Porters!

Pick up a Becky Wade book today and you won't be sorry you took the time to read her books!

My Opinion

There is nothing like curling up with a super sweet romance novel by the fireplace and loving every  minute of the book as you read. That is what I experienced with Kissed by a Cowboy. I loved the humor that Debra Clopton writes with, love the super sweet and romantic story line and, of course, you can't lose with a cowboy coming to the rescue! :)

My Opinion

I am a big fan of The Royal Wedding Series and Rachel Hauck and I got so excited when I saw that the third book in the series was coming out, How to Catch a Prince!

This one might be the best one of the whole series! I loved the story line and watching Stephen and Corina heal from their pasts and move closer together towards their future. And of course, fall in love! :)

As always, Rachel Hauck writes a great love story, draws me in from the first words and has me reading the book from start to finish as fast as I can just because I can't put it down! But, I am so sad when it is over!

If you love a fun, beautiful love story, then I highly recommend How to Catch a Prince and all of Rachel Hauck's books!

Nothing is better than a good ole' cowboy book!!! And Betting on Hope was definitely one of those great cowboy books!

I love the chemistry between Tru and Maggie and their competitive spirits! I loved going along on their journey to find love, happiness and a home!

This book was really well written, a true romance and one I couldn't put down!

My Opinion

I am a huge fan of Food Network and the Cupcake Wars show so when I saw this book is based on cupcakes and a cupcake competition, I was instantly excited to read it! However, I didn't know if it would hold my attention or be a good read...or just fluff.

And I am so excited to tell you that this book was amazing from start to finish! It was a fun, romantic, Christian book that had me never wanting to put it down until the very end!

I loved the friendship between Lucas and Kat because that is how my husband and I started our relationship - he was my best friend for four years before we started dating so I totally could relate to Lucas and Kat. I loved watching their relationship finally move to the next level and their relationship grow and strengthen.

This book was overall very well written and so fun to read! I highly recommend if you like cupcakes and love! :)

My Opinion

I absolutely love when a historical fiction book is based around real events and I can re-live the events through the characters. I don't much about this time in history or San Francisco so this book was really interesting to me and Karen Barnett did a really good job of making that time in history come alive!

Besides the great historical aspect, this book was also a great romance between Abby and Robert and I loved watching their romance and faith in God grow even through adversity.

This book was really well written and Karen Burnett has quickly become one of my new favorite authors! Plus, I can't wait for more books in this series!

In 1996, inspired by the death of her grandfather, Denise began her first book, writing while her children napped. Two years later it was published, and she's been writing ever since. Her husband says he inspires all of her romantic stories, but Denise insists a good imagination helps, too. When Denise isn't writing, she's busy raising three heroes-in-the-making with her husband.

My Opinion

Whenever I see the name Denise Hunter on a book, I get prepared for a great romance! Dancing with Fireflies was a perfect addition to her collection and it was a great read from start to finish!

I love that this book is a great reminder that God is always in control even when it doesn't feel like anything is going right. HE has an amazing plan for our lives and we must trust him! That is what Jade learned in this book and that is what I was reminded of while reading!

I highly recommend if you love contemporary Christian & romance fiction!
