My Opinion

I absolutely love my SurfShelf! I have been able to watch my favorite TV shows while I run, check my email, and surf the Internet! It makes time go by so much faster and I don't get bored anymore!

When I first opened the box that held the SurfShelf I was a little nervous to see if I could put it together. However, five minutes later (even with mommy brain!) it was set up and ready to use on my treadmill! My laptop fit perfectly and was held very secure - even with me running and shaking it around! :o)

This is one of the greatest inventions and I am so thankful for it because I don't dread running anymore (well...at least not as much!)

I recommend the SurfShelf to all treadmill, elliptical, or any exercise machine user! It makes time go so much faster and will entertain you while you exercise!

My Opinion

I absolutely love this company, what they stand for, their mission, and of course their great products!!! I love to be active and do all kinds of activities - and Mountain Hardwear is here to provide every supply, apparel and product I may need along the way!

I graciously received three great products from Mountain Hardwear - the Pacer Run Short with a Conditioning SS T and a pair of Rockridge shoes.

Let's start out by talking about my favorite item - the Montrail Rockridge shoes!

The Women’s Montrail Rockridge shoes were my favorite color purple! I was so excited just to see that! In addition, they had oustanding cushion, breathable mesh, thin, midfoot thermoplastic overlays, and full length compression molded EVA with Terra-Hex technology in the forefoot for added cushioning and multi-directional flexibility. Wondering what that all means? Well it means they were extremely comfortable, had great stability, were very breathable, and had great traction! There was going to be no slipping in these shoes!

When I first put my foot in, I took a huge sigh because they were so comfortable! It felt like standing on a cushion! They have worked great for running and I am trying to work them in. They hurt my feet initially a little because I think I need just a half a size bigger because they are pretty narrow shoes and I unfortunately have pretty wide feet! Other than that, I love them!

The Women's Pacer Run Short are made from lightweight, quick dry fabric with an integrated brief with Chitosan for odor control. I love the great security pocket for keys and essentials! I have never had shorts with that feature before and I love it (and my husband was jealous that I had shorts with a security pocket!) They worked great for all types of exercise!

The Women's Conditioning Shirt is made with an advanced comfort construction now for runners. MicroClimate Zoning maps open knits over high perspiration areas for cooling ventilation and the ultra-high reflective print keeps you visible at night. This shirt was so comfortable and cooling. I barely even felt like I was sweating as I went for my daily run (and I usually soak my shirts). I loved that there was the reflective print in case I go running at night! This would be the perfect shirt for heavy sweating runners who like to run at night!

I recommend Mountain Hardwear for all active people! They have something for men and women that play or do all kinds of sports or activities! Their apparel is cute but at the same time functional and you won't be disappointed!

Tag! Move and Shake CD Review

I have said before how I am a huge music lover! After having a baby, however, my music taste has changed just a little...well a lot! I now listen to kid's music, lullabies, and nursery rhymes! :o) So when I had a chance to listen to the new Move & Shake CD from Tag! I was thrilled!

Tag! was born in a garage off of Moreland Avenue in Atlanta filled with toys, instruments, bicycles, three dogs, a cat and an active three year old. Each member called upon their past experience in music. Ian came from ska, reggae and punk. Justin worked in hip hop and metal and Karen came from a past of country, rockabilly and beat. Together they pooled their sources and wrote some songs for kids of all ages, parents and pets to sing along with in the car or while dancing around the living room.

My Opinion

My son and I LOVE to listen to music during the day and dance a little too! I put on music when I am changing him (to hopefully keep him still) and in the kitchen and car! I just love music and I want to pass that on to my son!

Well, the Tag! Move & Shake CD was the perfect CD to listen to with my son throughout the day! It was so fun, the words were easy to learn and sing along with, and it was so catchy! It is our new favorite for diaper changing time and I have all the words memorized and sing it to him all the time!

My favorite song is that when they sing the words to one of my favorite books Brown Bear (Brown Bear, What Do You See?) I love that they put it to music!

I recommend the Tag! Move & Shake CD for all children and music lovers! It was so fun to listen to and you will love singing along with your children!

Weight Loss Event: Pulse Yoga Review

Pulse Yoga is a result of a personal quest to find yoga routines that accomplish much more than other yoga styles. So, in addition to the free weights, there are added micro movements that primarily target areas such as the gluteus muscles, abdominals, upper arms and lower back. These micro movements within the yoga postures are highly effective with results that are noticeable immediately.

My Opinion

I am a newbie to yoga because I usually prefer a more upbeat exercise or a weightlifting workout.

So I was a little nervous to try this Pulse Yoga. However, it was a great mix of both types of exercise and it was actually very challenging and fun at the same time! It took all the normal poses of yoga but added a challenge by adding weights and pulses.

Plus, it was set in beautiful Mexico and it made the workout calming and relaxing but kicked my butt at the same time! :o)

The only negative is that the videos are all about 60 minutes so you are going to need a chunk of time to do these workouts.

I recommend Pulse Yoga to all yoga lovers out there but it is also great for yoga newbies like me that also like an extra challenge and weightlifting added in!

My Opinion

I was so excited to try out the Babo Botanicals Oatmeal Calendula lotion and shampoo because my son has really sensitive and really dry skin all the time! I really needed a great lotion to would help keep the moisture in his skin without irritating it at the same time!

My Opinion

This book was one filled with tons of drama, characters, and romance! It is such a great combination of all my favorites! I love the story it has of childhood friends/lovers being reunited and falling in love all over again as adults since it is pretty much the story of my life as well! (However, I am not a movie star and either is my husband! :o)

This story had a great storyline and I (as usual) could not put it down! :o) What is most exciting of all is that there is a sequel coming out - I can't wait!

Get a hold of this book as soon as possible - you will love it!
