Eye-Fi Mobi Memory Card

A product was given for review for my honest opinion. No other compensation was given.

I don't know how many times over the holidays I was taking pictures with my digital camera (at my son's Christmas program, opening presents as a family, Christmas dinner, etc!) and I really wanted to share my special family pictures instantly on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter but I COULDN'T because I took them on my digital camera!

So when I was introduced to Eye-Fi, I was so excited to know that I can now instantly transfer my pictures from my digital camera onto my phone to share on my social networks! No more wishing I had used my phone instead of my camera and no more blurry, low quality photos taken and shared on my phone!

Eye-Fi wireless memory cards take the hassle out of uploading photos by automatically and wirelessly transferring pictures/videos from your digital camera to your smartphone, tablet, computer or favorite social networks easy peasy.

Mobi instantly delivers your best photos & videos from your camera to your smartphone or tablet. No wireless network required. Mobi creates its own WiFi so it works anywhere you are.
Mobi Eye-Fi is simple to setup and simple to use. Just install the free Eye-Fi app on your smartphone or tablet to connect the card. Once paired, the card transfers photos & videos whenever new content is detected by your device. And, once the transfer completes, the card disconnects its WiFi to save your battery.

My favorite part is I get the high quality pictures from my camera onto my social networks. Smartphones fall short for life’s many moments that require zooming, high-speed shooting, low light and other features that make digital cameras superior.
Mobi provides photo lovers a no compromises solution: great quality pictures and videos of a digital camera and instant access on the smartphone to enjoy and share.

Editing and sharing are fun and easy because higher quality images are delivered to the camera roll on your smartphone — ready for Facebook, Instagram, Camera Awesome, a quick text or email. Any sharing, editing or viewing apps you love on your smartphone and tablet are now easily enjoyed with your best photos and videos.

Buy It: You can purchase the Mobi 8 GB memory card for $49.99 from the Eye-Fi website.

BackPeddle, the First Social Media Platform Do-Over

A product was given for review for my honest opinion. No other compensation was given.

If you love SnapChat, then let me introduce you to BackPeddle, the First Social Media Platform Do-Over!

Officially launching on December 3, 2013 for iOS and Android, BackPeddle is a new social media photo sharing application that allows users to do it all, control it all and take it all back.

BackPeddle can be used to share photos, videos, audios and text(s) three ways:

1. Users can share photos, videos and audios within the BackPeddle app and can add an expiration date for minute(s), hours, weeks or months away

2. Photos, videos and audios can be shared to social media sites including Facebook, Twitter and Google+

3. Users can send friends photo, video, audio and text messages through the app – photos, audios and texts can be set for 5, 10, 15 or 30 seconds, videos can only be played once.

BackPeddle users are able to add an expiration date to their photos, videos, audios and texts. Once images and videos have expired, or if a user decides to delete them later on, they are instantly deleted from all social media where they have been posted, shared or retweeted. Available for download through iTunes and Google Play, BackPeddle was developed by parents to give users peace of mind about posting on social channels.

How BackPeddle Works

• The free app can be downloaded in the iTunes store and Google Play

• Users then create a personal profile in the BackPeddle app

• Peddler friends can be added through Facebook, phone contacts and by manual search

• Photos can be taken through the app or uploaded from the phone gallery

• Users can choose to upload and share photos, videos and audios deciding whether to share them with the world, only with their friends or sharing to other social media sites

• An expiration date for photos and videos can be set for hours, days, or even months later

• Videos and audios can be up to 30 seconds long

• Photos and videos can be removed from all shared platforms with the single push of a button

• All content that has been forwarded, re-tweeted or reposted is removed when a BackPeddle expiration date is set

Social Media Needs a Big Fat Internet Eraser - BackPeddle Is Here to the Rescue!!!

How Has Social Media Changed Your Life??

Thank you to BING Social Search for sponsoring my post about social media. I was selected for this sponsorship by the Clever Girls Collective, which endorses Blog With Integrity, as I do.

Social Media
...two words that have changed the way companies operate and advertise, people operate and spend their time, and...are two new words that have found their way into arguments in households across the world! :)

As you may be able to tell, I speak from experience! :) Social media has changed my life in significant ways...some are good and some are unfortunately not so good.

I would say the good outweigh the bad or I would not still be involved! I absolutely love the opportunities Social Media has opened up for me - my blog, new and awesome products that I have learned about and been able to share with others, and new people, business contacts, and friends I have connected with through Social Media. Without my blog, I would have gone crazy sitting home with my son the last two years! It has helped me find a purpose now that I am a stay at home mom and for that I am eternally grateful!

Also, other social media sites like Facebook and Twitter have changed the way I learn news about family and friends and it is so crazy that people communicate more by these social media sites than they do by phone, mail  or even face-to-face! Sometimes, it is a little crazy how much interaction and relationships are dependent on social media and it scares me sometimes that people will forget how to communicate face to face!

However, unfortunately some bad has come along with the good. There have been some new arguments in my house about the late night laptop sessions trying to meet a deadline or reply to a gazillion emails. The laptop and my blog have become a third person in our relationship and sometimes it can cause strain. Four years ago, when we got married, neither one of us knew about social media or expected this bump in the marriage road! :) However, we have figured it out and I have learned to work when I can and cherish my family time most of all!

I love to see Social Media growing like crazy and I can't wait to see how it changes my life in the future and the world around us!
