I am so excited every time a new VeggieTales movie comes out and my children get even more excited than I do! We love to sit down on our Family Movie Night and watch a funny, wholesome movie with a great message!

We found all that and more in the newest VeggieTales: BEAUTY and THE BEET.

This brand-new VeggieTales musical premieres Oct. 14 and stars Kellie Pickler (American Idol, Dancing With the Stars), who brings her unmistakable voice to the role of Mirabelle, a sweet-potato singer whose family band is on the brink of superstardom.

BEAUTY AND THE BEET blends the irresistible charm of VeggieTales with a heartfelt message about unconditional love. Mirabelle and her traveling family band, the VeggieTones, are determined to make their next gig at Vegetable Square Garden. On their journey, a fierce winter snowstorm hits, and the family gets stuck at a run-down resort! Mr. Beet, the grumpy manager makes them sing - and clean - for their supper. Why is Mr Beet such a beast? And can Mirabelle’s kindness change him? Find out in this hilarious and heartwarming tale of unconditional love! Featuring 8 Songs performed by Kellie Pickler as “Mirabelle.”

Our family's favorite part was, as always, the Silly Songs with Larry! These songs always stick in your head long after the DVD is over! Beauty & The Beet includes Mac and Cheese, a giddy new “Silly Songs With Larry” segment in which Larry the Cucumber reveals the surprising and heretofore untold history of his family’s unexpected contributions to Italian cuisine.

And best of for all Netflix users like our family, BEAUTY AND THE BEET is just the start of the fun in store this fall for VeggieTales fans, because the gang will also star in a brand-new Netflix original series, VeggieTales In the House, which premieres Thanksgiving weekend!

NEW VeggieTales DVD: Celery Night Fever & Giveaway

A product was given for review for my honest opinion. No other compensation was given.

In our house, VeggieTales movies are a BIG DEAL! My children love the songs, stories and the fun characters and they get so excited when a new VeggieTales DVD comes out!

So when my children saw the newest DVD release, Celery Night Fever, they got so excited to see it! And it was just as fun and memorable as prior ones! They LOVED the fun music, the funny characters and I loved the great morals and story line they are promoting - forgiveness!

Check out the movie trailer:

More About The Movie:

In Celery Night Fever, the retro funkadelic sights and sounds of polyester leisure suits and disco balls take center stage – along with a timeless message of friendship and forgiveness. Actor Terry Crews provides the voice of Bruce Onion, a nefarious real-estate developer who plans to turn the serene, green Celery Park into a parking lot. His unsavory scheme spurs Laura Carrot and Junior Asparagus to enact a bold plan: reuniting the long-lost ’70s band The Groovy Brothers to play at a fund-raising concert. The problem is, The Groovy Brothers haven’t spoken to each other in decades, and the members have little interest in getting back together. Their long-simmering feud spills over to affect Laura and Junior. It’s not just Celery Park that’s in jeopardy – if best friends can’t learn to forgive each other and accept each other’s faults, the veggies might lose their cherished community gathering spot. Celery Night Fever features six original songs, including a rousing number from Bruce Onion, showcasing the musical side of Terry Crews. Celery Night Fever debuts Aug. 5 exclusively on DVD.

It definitely remains true to all the music, fun and values-based storytelling of prior VeggieTales films. Perfect for every family!

VeggieTales: Lettuce Love One Another! & Giveaway

It is always a VERY special treat in our house when we get to sit down as a family and watch a new VeggieTales movie!

The latest one that made my son jump up and down with joy is VeggieTales: Lettuce Love One Another!

VeggieTales: Lettuce Love One Another! includes three popular VeggieTales episodes—Tomato Sawyer & Huckleberry Larry's Big River Rescue, Abe and the Amazing Promise and King George and the Ducky—in addition to five brand-new “Bible Bits,” story shorts that demonstrate examples of giving and forgiving, helping, praying and sharing. Each episode in this collection helps teach a valuable lesson about love, whether it’s through honoring others when we help them, having patience or the importance of putting others first.

This DVD was great for reminding my son to share, one of his weaknesses, and he always loves when he hears it from some of his favorite pals: the Veggies! :)

Also, make sure to check out this great Kindness Chart and Cards. I thought this was great for children off all ages to help them remember to be kind. It can help parents and children work together on encouraging kindness everday! Feel free to print and use!

VeggieTales: Little Ones Can Do Big Things Too DVD & Giveaway

I can not even tell you how excited my son gets when he sees a new VeggieTales movie arrive at our doorstep!! They are by far his absolute favorite movie to watch on our weekly movie nights and he loves to sing with them, learn a great lesson for life, and hear about great Bible stories!

The latest new release from VeggieTales is VeggieTales: Little Ones Can Do Big Things Too. It was inspired by a classic VeggieTales favorite song, "Little Guys Can Do Big Things Too," and these shows let kids know that even though they are small, they can be used by God to do BIG things! This was a perfect lesson for my son because he is a tiny little guy and he especially loved learning about David and Goliath and how David faced his fears and fought against the big guy even though no one thought he could do it. With faith, he did it and we talk about that lesson often as my little guy faces his own fears in life (big slides, dark rooms, etc)!

This compilation DVD includes introductions from beloved VeggieTales characters Bob, Larry and Junior, and features the popular Veggie Kids (real kids' voices animated with little veggies), providing their thoughts on everything from how big God is to how little they sometimes feel! VeggieTales: Little Ones Can Do Big Things Too includes popular shows VeggieTales: Dave & The Giant Pickle, VeggieTales Pistachio: The Little Boy Who Woodn’t and VeggieTales: Lyle the Kindly Viking, plus three great Silly Songs (“I Love My Lips,” “Larry's High Silk Hat” and “Where Have All The Staplers Gone?”). The DVD also provides 10 minutes of brand-new animation and extra bonus features! You don’t have to be BIG to do great things.

I definitely recommend this new DVD from VeggieTales if you are looking to add to your children's movie collection!

Buy It: You can purchase VeggieTales: Little Ones Can Do Big Things Too for $9.99 from Amazon.com.
