Gift Ideas from Kid Basix

A product was given for review for my honest opinion. No other compensation was given.

Kid Basix knows that nothing irks parents more than buying something for their child that doesn’t last. That’s why they created The Safe Sippy2 - so when a child says he or she is too old for a sippy cup and want s a straw bottle like the “big kids,” parents can reach for the straw adaptor instead of their wallet.

The Safe Sippy2™ toddler cup is made from clean, non-leaching, stainless steel and is free of BPA, phthalates and other harmful chemicals. The Safe Sippy2 combines all the great features of the original Safe Sippy, plus three new features that parents asked for most: a no spill valve and straw and straw adaptor, a travel cap to keep the spout clean, a travel plug to protect from any drips while out and about.

The Safe Sippy2™ retails for $15.99 and is dishwasher safe.

Kid Basix also offers the Safe Sporter Sippy Cup for older children!

The Kid Basix Safe Sporter™ Sippy Cup has a cutting-edge design that is similarly certified, but perfect for elementary school children. It features a single-walled design to maximize volume, a wide mouth, an easy-pull spout, a mud cap to keep the spout clean, a band to protect hands from cold liquids and a coaster to protect it from dents. The Safe Sporter™ is available in 12oz and 16oz sizes.

The 12oz retails for $15.99 and the 16oz retails for $16.99. Both are dishwasher safe.

tommee tippee Products are Now Sold at Walmart!!!

* This post is brought to you by tommee tippee. All opinions are mine!*

As you know, I am a huge fan of tommee tippee products and I love using their products for all my children!

Which is why I am SO EXCITED to share that tommee tippee recently announced that its infant and toddler feeding products and accessories are now available in select Walmart stores nationwide!!!

Even better news was that I had a Walmart near me that sold tommee tippee items and I am so happy that I got to go there, get my groceries, my household items and my tommee tippee products all in one shopping trip!

At launch, twelve of Tommee Tippee’s signature products, including feeding bottles, nipples and cups are available in Walmart stores.

At my local Walmart I found exactly what I was looking for: new tommee tippee sippy cups for my 7 month old son! They had a great selection to choose from for both girls and boys and they were really easy to find in the store!

I was with all three children and it was close to bedtime, so I was SO HAPPY to find them easily, pick out the perfect item, get all my items on my list, and be able to get on my way!

They were also really reasonably priced and had cups for ages 4+ to over 1 year old. I loved the super cute designs for both boys and girls!

I picked out these super cute training cups for my son! They are the perfect size for my son and the designs are so cute! These will be perfect for helping my son transition from nursing to cups and I am just so glad I can find them now at my local Walmart!

You can now purchase tommee tippee products on Walmart.com as well as in Walmart Canada stores and online at Walmart.ca.

Philips AVENT Natural Drinking Cup & Giveaway

A product was given for review for my honest opinion. No other compensation was given.

It is always a challenge (and a mess!) to teach a toddler how to transition from a sippy cup to a regular drinking cup. My daughter is in the INDEPENDENT stage and wants to do everything her big brother and parents are doing...including drinking from a regular cup. It has resulted in spills and messes that have soaked my daughter, my floors and the tabletop and food!

So when I saw the Philips AVENT Natural Drinking Cup, I really wanted to try it out and see if it was the solution to my daughter's drinking cup transition issues!

The Philips AVENT Natural Drinking Cup meets the drinking needs of growing babies and toddlers! Philips AVENT Natural Drinking Cup’s lip-activated technology teaches babies to drink like mom and dad without spilling!

There are several unique features that really set it apart from other drinking cup transition cups I have used in the past:

Lip activated valve encourages grown up drinking. The unique valve is a brand new innovation, specially designed by experts at Philips AVENT. The valve is lip activated for your toddler to master free flow drinking.

Trainer handles help your toddler to hold the cup and drink independently. My daughter can easily hold the cup and it doesn't slip out of messy, wet hands!

360-Degree Drinking for Easy Transition. The Natural Drinking Cup is a great first grown up drinking cup for toddlers ready to move on from traditional sippy cups or from drinking from a straw. The cup allows drinking from all around the rim, just like an adult cup. This design encourages your toddler to get used to grown up drinking.

This cup features a spill-proof valve that prevents waste and mess. This fast-flow valve is activated when a child's top lip presses against the lid, so milk or water only flows when your toddler is ready to drink. When the cup isn't in use, you won't have to worry about spills and messes.

My favorite feature is that this cup is BPA-Free and is also dishwasher safe for easy cleanup and sterilization! Safe and easy to clean - now you are speaking my language! :)

So don't dread that messy transition from sippy/straw cup to drinking cup every again...get the Philips AVENT Natural Drinking Cup for an easy, spill proof and easy to hold transition!

A product was given for review for my honest opinion. No other compensation was given.

One of my favorite memories from my childhood is our yearly summer vacations to places all around the country (with 10+ people packed into one vehicle/camper!!). We camped at historical and geological beauties across the country and I learned so much and saw so much that I will never forget! Plus, we created family memories that we still talk about to this day! They may not have been funny at the time, but we definitely can look back now with fond memories and laughter!

Are you taking a family road trip this year?

Contigo, a leading producer of innovative travel mugs, water bottles and kids’ cups, is launching a “Road Warrior” campaign! They know you are on the go – and Contigo’s water bottles and travel mugs feature AUTOSEAL and AUTOSPOUT technologies that offer convenient, one-handed drinking solutions to make commuting or traveling easier on you, your clothes and your car.
