Check Out How I Use My Chicago Cutlery Knives!

Well, it has been several weeks since I first received my Chicago Cutlery Knives and I must say they have really transformed my kitchen and the way I prepare meals for my family! I no longer dread cutting, chopping and slicing vegetables, fruit and meat during meal prep and I have significantly shortened my prep time!

I feel A LOT more confident using knives because of the great finger guides on the Chicago Cutlery knives and I feel like I can dice and chop a lot faster than I used to! I even feel confident using the large Chef knife...and it honestly scared me at the beginning! :)

With these knives, I have chopped vegetables for pasta salads, cut fruit for fruit salads, cut meats for grilling, and made so many, many meals with the help of these knives. Make sure to check out my video demonstration of how I have used my knives and what I am chopping, dicing, and cutting in my kitchen lately!

I am so appreciative of Chicago Cutlery for giving me the chance to try these knives out and build my confidence in the kitchen! It is amazing how something as simple as good knives can build confidence in the kitchen as a chef and cook for my family! My motto lately is "The skies the limit in the kitchen" and I now love to try lots of new recipes!

If you want to transform your kitchen and your knife skills, make sure you head over and get your Chicago Cutlery DesignPro Knives on Amazon.com.

Chicago Cutlery Knives Help Improve Preparation Skills! & Giveaway

So it has been a couple weeks since I first became a Chicago Cutlery Ambassador and received three Chicago Cutlery knives - a Chef, Scalloped Bread and Parer knives.

I have used these knives almost every day preparing dinners for my family! From cutting vegetables, fruits, herbs, breads, meats, these knives have been there for me every step of the way and made cutting, chopping, slicing, and peeling easier than it has ever been for me before! The knives are made with ultra sharp, Japanese steel blades and I think that is what makes these knives so much more superior than other knives I have used before or own. They slice through EVERYTHING like butter and makes chopping, cutting, and slicing effortlessly.

Preparing meals has gone quicker, smoother and more efficiently because I can chop and cut foods more quickly and without getting frustrated! Plus, these new Chicago Cutlery® DesignPro knives help handle me handle and hold their knives better because of its innovative grip that guides my hand to the best position for superior control and cutting. I really feel the difference when I am using them - it took some practice using it correctly but once I got the hang of it, I notice how much more efficiently and smoothly the knife cuts! Plus, I feel more comfortable holding it with their guidance!

One of our family's favorite meals is the quick and healthy meal, Pasta Salad with Extra Virgin Olive Oil and Balsamic Vinaigrette. I used all three Chicago Cutlery knives for this meal to chop and mince all the different herbs and vegetables in this recipe!

Check out the recipes below and make sure to try it for an easy, healthy and delicious meal that also makes great leftovers!!

Pasta Salad with Extra Virgin Olive Oil and Balsamic Vinaigrette

Ingredients:
  • ¾ cup of Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • ¼ cup balsamic vinaigrette
  • 2 Tablespoons dried oregano
  • 1 Tablespoon parsley
  • 1 Teaspoon basil
  • 1Tablespoon Parmesan
  • 1 clove crushed garlic
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  • Pasta of your choice
  • Veggies of your choice; I use tomatoes, green pepper, red onion, carrots, and peas. Cucumber is always good in pasta salad as well.

Directions:
Cook pasta – let it cool while you make the dressing and chop the veggies; Mix everything together in a bowl; chill in the refrigerator and it is ready to serve.

Enjoy!

There is A Lot of Chopping and Cutting Happening at My House Lately!

Did you ever hear the saying, "You don't know what you don't have, until you DO have it!"

If not, then that is because I think I just made it up! :) lol

But it is so relevant for me lately because I recently became a Chicago Cutlery Mom Ambassador and, thus, I received three great knives from the Chicago Cutlery line of knives! I thought I had good knives before, but they are nothing compared to these amazing Chicago Cutlery knives! I didn't know how bad my knives were until I used these new Chicago Cutlery knives!

I am so excited to use these knives and become a faster and more precise chopper, cutter, and dicer! I would not say I am by any means an expert...in fact, if I am honest, I would say I am a beginner in the knife department. I chop up veggies frequently and occasionally some meats, but I would love to learn how to use a knife like an expert. I LOVE watching the experts on the Food Network chop and dice with their incredible speed and I would love to show off those kind of skills with my new Chicago Cutlery knives some day!

Another goal I have is to be able to prepare healthy meals for my family quicker and more efficiently...especially since I never seem to have the time with two children ages 2 and under. With these Chicago Cutlery knives, I can get more done in a shorter amount of time and I won't be as frustrated while doing it! Currently, my knives can sometimes really anger me because half the time I feel like I am either sawing at the foods, trying to make the knife cut a straight line or struggling to hold it without cutting myself!

Just from first glance and first hold of these knives, I know they are going to revolutionize the way I run my kitchen and prepare foods! These knives are already teaching me how to hold knives correctly because they offer an innovative grip that guides my hand for superior control and cutting and the ultra sharpness and high quality Japanese steel blades of the knives work amazingly for effortless cutting!

So stay tuned for more info about these knives in the coming weeks, a video demonstration, and even a GIVEAWAY for YOU to WIN your own Chicago Cutlery Knife and revolutionize your kitchen!

And if you want to find more info about these great Chicago Cutlery DesignPro Knives or want to know where to buy them, check them out on Amazon.com.
