Men That Love Cats? Enter the Purina @ProPlanCat #MenAndCatsContest!

This post was sponsored by the Role Mommy Writer's Network.

Do you know an extraordinary man with a cat?

Purina Pro Plan is shredding perceptions of both traditional cat food and who typically loves cats by launching the Purina Pro Plan #MenAndCatsContest to celebrate the new Savor Shredded Blend.

Purina Pro Plan is working to change the perception of dry cat food by introducing Savor Shredded Blend, an all-new mealtime experience that combines crunchy kibble and tender meaty shreds to provide both extraordinary nutrition and exceptional taste.

In order to change how people think of who typically loves cats, Purina Pro Plan is partnering with proud cat guy and “Devious Maids” actor Gilles Marini to search for extraordinary men who own and love cats. We are asking that people nominate the cat guys in their lives or that those extraordinary cat guys out there enter themselves by sharing a photo of them with their cat on Instagram or Twitter using the hashtag #MenAndCatsContest and tagging @ProPlanCat from August 31 – September 14. Those men could be featured in the 2016 Purina Pro Plan Extraordinary Men and Cats Calendar and win a year’s supply of Savor Shredded Blend.

The calendars will be used to raise funds for rescue groups nationwide through the Purina Pro Plan Rally to Rescue network.

For entry details and eligibility requirements and to learn more about Savor Shredded Blend, visit www.proplan.com/MenAndCatsContest and let’s not only change the perception of who loves cats, but also help rescue organizations across the country find loving, permanent homes for cats just like theirs.

30 Day Super-Absorbent Litter & Giveaway

*This post is brought to you by Simple Solution. All opinions are 100% mine.*

You love cats, but let’s face it... no one wants their home to smell like a litter box! 30 Day Super-Absorbent Litter from Simple Solution is unlike anything you’ve ever used before. It’s a new kind of cat litter. It doesn’t mask the odor; its powerful odor technology actually alters the odor molecules, eliminating the smell completely. Plus, you never have to scoop urine ever again—saving you hassle and money.

For over 30 years, Simple Solution provided superior stain and odor products that are safe for family pets. They know that you love a clean home, but worry about harsh chemicals being used around your pets and kids. So they leveraged their knowledge of stains, odors and pets to bring you a line of household cleaners specifically formulated to be safe for pets. Now you really can have a clean, safe home.

30 Day Super-Absorbent Litter is strong enough to eliminate litter box odors in even the toughest multi-cat households. It is three times more absorbent than standard litters, so it works faster and better. Plus, it is up to 50% lighter than standard litters, giving you more odor-fighting power in a smaller box.

My favorite part: NO SCOOPING! The unique Attapulgite clay is so effective, it doesn’t need to clump—so you don’t have to scoop urine ever again. Attapulgite clay is a unique, lightweight mineral with a three-dimensional crystal structure, large surface area and high porosity that allow it to quickly attach to, absorb and trap moisture and odors.

Other cat litters just mask unpleasant odor. Not 30 Day Super-Absorbent Litter. Their new technology chemically bonds with odor molecules and forms a new, odorless molecule. Total odor control.

Buy It: You can purchase 30 Day Super-Absorbent Litter from your local Walmart.

Win It: Simple Solution is generously offering (3) 15lb boxes of 30 Day Super-Absorbent Litter to TWO lucky winners!

Check Out Scotties New Look and Their Great Cause! & Giveaway #ScottiesKittens

A product was given for review for my honest opinion. No other compensation was given.

When you think of kittens, most of you would think "super soft!" That is what Scotties wants you to think of when you think of their tissues too! They are both super soft!

To help you remember this, they are celebrating a new mascot and box design! Plus, Scotties has sponsored adoption fees (up to $15,000) for select cats and kittens across the country!

Scotties Facial Tissues recently announced that all summer long, from June to August they will be holding sponsoring cat adoption events along the east coast. Scotties will work with rescue organizations in Boston, MA, Raleigh, NC, and Tampa, FL in order to waive adoption fees for prospective cat owners in an effort to place them in loving homes.

This private/public partnership with animal rescue organizations is a key public service focus for Scotties on the east coast in 2014. All adoptable cats will have been spayed and neutered and are up to date on all shots and vaccinations.

Scotties hopes to rally support for this cause and to put approximately 100 – 150 cats nationally into their forever homes.

So head to your nearest retailer and pick up some Scotties tissues! You will support a great cause and feel how soft Scotties tissues really are!
