Birthday Bash: Guidecraft Hide 'n Seek Shape Sorter Review and Giveaway

I have the perfect educational gift to give for a birthday present! The Hide 'n Seek Shape Sorter from Guidecraft is both educational and fun and my son loves his!

I received the Hide 'n Seek Shape Sorter from Guidecraft. Children will love seeing the shapes "hide" as they locate the correctly shaped opening, drop in the shapes, and then "seek" out the pieces to begin the fun once again! It develops geometric recognition, counting, and shape-sorting skills while also improving fine-motor skills. The sturdy wooden construction has rounded corners and smooth edges and is made with safe non-toxic paints with a clear finish. The raised base accomodates floor or tabletop play.

My Opinion

I have been searching for a good shape sorter for my son - and I found the perfect one from Guidecraft! There are so many things I love about this one!

First off, I love that it is made of wood and non-toxic paints and not plastic. It makes me feel so much better about my son playing with it!

Second of all, I love that once he puts the shapes in, he can easily get them back himself and start over! Many shape sorters I have seen lock in the shapes so that an adult has to come over and help! Not this one!

Most of all, I love that it is educational and my son can learn so many things from this one toy: colors, shapes, how to find the shapes, and how to match them up with their fitted spots!

I recommend Guidecraft for all your toy needs. This Shape Sorter is great addition to my son's toy collection and there are so many other great toys available too!
