Each rhyme contains words that start with the corresponding letter. Each rhyme talks about different attitudes and actions a person can have, such as love, eagerness, kooky, and dreaming. It is supposed to help children learn to appreciate themselves and the world around them.
This book was cute and fun to read the rhymes and it is a nice hardcover book. However, the rhymes are a little long for each letter of the alphabet so make sure you are reading to a child that has a good attention span. The pictures aren't that clear or interesting either so that won't really hold their attention. However, for an older child this book teaches great words for them to learn about themselves and learn the alphabet at the same time!
I recommend this book for older children who understand bigger words, who are learning their alphabet, and who are learning about themselves.
