In our house, we LOVE LED lights! There is just something so cool and soothing about a great LED light and we just can't get enough! We love how it stays cool when on and isn't a danger to our kids!

We have even started to outfit our Cabin up north with LED's and our favorite has got to be our new Loftek Outdoor LED Stump Light we now have on our dock!

Loftek offers mood lights that are decorative LED's and come in in a wide range of shapes and sizes. They fully illuminate with 16 remote-controllable RGB colors; perfect for home decoration, parties, poolside, etc.

The Stump Light we received is a vibrant, multicolored LED light with high-quality, eco-friendly acrylic housing in a cool 13 inch stump shape. It fits perfectly in our cabin decor and is a perfect seat on the dock! It looks SO cool at night as well!

Plus, it is waterproof: IP 65-rated; fully waterproof and dust-protected and fully useable both indoors and outdoors so we never have to worry about our fun being rained out!

My favorite part is the 16 beautiful RGB colors and 4 lighting modes! And I don't even have to move to see it change - it remote-controllable and rechargeable with included AC adapter!

The light will brighten up your patio, backyard, and pool with amazing lighting effects! It is also portable and easy to move indoors, setting a cozy atmosphere in your home. Plus, it just looks so cool!

Transform Your Outlet Quickly and Easily Into A Nightlight with @Snap_Power Guidelights!

A product was given for review for my honest opinion. No other compensation was given.

I got a really cool gift idea for homeowners on your gift list this year or parents with small children!

The SnapPower Guidelight (starting at $15) can safely and easily transform an outlet coverplate into a convenient night light. They automatically turn on and off by a sensor and are equipped with energy-efficient LED lighting for perfect nighttime illumination.

I instantly LOVED the idea behind these Guidelights because my children get up to go to the bathroom during the night and these are so great for providing subtle light only in the dark WITHOUT a bulky nightlight!

PLUS, these LED lights cost less than 10 cents per year and last 25+ years and the practical design leaves all electrical outlets free for use! I really love that!

And what amazed me the most was how easy it was to install! By the time I was done singing and praying with my son before bed, my husband had the guidelight installed in his room! It requires no wires or batteries and the sensor turns Guidelight on/off based on current light conditions. I never have to worry about it!

If you are looking for a cool decor feature in your house or a helpful light for children at night without blocking an outlet, these SnapPower Guidelights are one of the coolest home devices we own now! LOVE THEM!

New Lighting Technology‏ with Finally Acandescent Light Bulbs

A product was given for review for my honest opinion. No other compensation was given.

It is really great that everyone is trying to save energy these days by using energy saving LED and CFL light bulbs. However, have you ever noticed that they emit cold, one-directional light?

If you miss the glow of incandescent lights but don't want to waste the energy, then let me introduce you to a great alternative, Finally™, the first and only light bulb to use Acandescent™ technology. It is also the first light bulb to truly replicate the look, reassuring warmth and omnidirectional light of the incandescent light bulbs you love.

The Finally Light Bulb Company has created Acandescence™, an innovative lighting technology for everyday home use, which reliably recreates the same light as an incandescent without the energy waste or excessive cost. The light it produces is both eco and consumer-friendly, easy on the wallet and comfortable on the eyes. With roots in induction technology, Acandescence™ uses a copper coil – not a tungsten filament or an electrode – to generate light.

Additional attributes include:

· 75% more efficient than an incandescent and will last 15 times longer – providing up to $75 worth of savings over its lif etime

· Made in the recognizable and attractive Edison light bulb shape

· Reproduces the reassuring warm, high-quality and omnidirectional light of the beloved incandescent bulbs

· Unvarying light from bulb to bulb or brand to brand, like LEDs or CFLs, because only Finally™ bulbs use Acandescence™

· Ideal for indoor and outdoor use, Finally™ bulbs fit everywhere and work in any fixture

They offer two great options: 60 and 100 watt bulbs!

Thermacell Backyard Lanterns & Giveaway

A product was given for review for my honest opinion. No other compensation was given.

This is our first summer in our new house and we learned really fast that our backyard is very mosquito plagued. My poor children are still too young to realize when they have mosquitoes on them and aren't quick enough to swat them. Therefore, my poor children are COVERED in itchy, miserable bug bites!

However, I am also NEVER going to put DEET or any toxic bug sprays on my children so I needed to find a safe, natural mosquito solution QUICKLY and I found that from Thermacell!

Using patented technology, these lanterns and repellers are almost 98% effective at keeping biting pests at bay. With our new Thermacell Backyard Torches and Lanterns, my children have had little to no bug bites and I never worry about any harmful ingredients getting on their skin!

They are an attractive, discreet, odorless and silent solution, clearing a 15x15ft area in literally minutes.

How Does Thermacell Work?

They use a copy of the natural repellent found in chrysanthemums to create a 15x15 ft zone of protection in just minutes.Thermacell products use butane to heat a repellent pad to evenly and effectively vaporize a repellent in the air that biting bugs really HATE! It does not kill insects, just repels them.

The products are EPA approved and have been tested by the U.S. Army in Turkey and Costs Rica for effectiveness against mosquitoes and in Maine against black flies. The U.S. Department of Defense has used Thermacell for over a decade to keep sand flies and other pests at bay.

And besides keeping the mosquitoes away, they also look great AND provide light!

Our favorite item is the Mosquito Repellent Torch. It is one of their newest products and I absolutely LOVE it because I can set it up where my children are playing in the backyard and Bye-Bye mosquitoes!!! I then can move it by me later on when I am working on the garden at dusk or over by my husband while he works outside. It is so versatile, easy to use and set up and works great!

With no open flame this Backyard Torch can be used on the included pole, or the table-top stand and it creates a 15 x 15 ft Zone of Protection which is the size of an average deck or patio.

It is ideal for backyards, decks, picnics, barbecues, camping, and outdoor parties. It has No smelly lotions, sprays, or oils on skin and runs silently. The repellent and light features can be used together or separately.

Our summer has been saved because of Thermacell and our entire family and our bug-bite free skin thank you!!!

"Go Green" This Spring with LED Light Bulbs from Batteries Plus Bulbs!

A product was given for review for my honest opinion. No other compensation was given.

When we finally moved into our own house a couple months ago, one of the first things we wanted to do is "Go Green" and eco-friendly with many things around the house. We recently started a compost, will be installing a rain barrel soon, and have been focusing on recycling more!

Our latest "green" change has been swapping out the bulbs in our house with eco-friendly LED light bulbs from Batteries Plus Bulbs!

Over the past three years, each new generation of LED has become more efficient and less expensive. When the traditional A-shape LED bulbs came onto the scene a few years ago, single bulbs were in the $30 range, whereas now we’re looking at roughly only $7 a bulb!

Plus, many energy utility companies nationwide are incentivizing consumers to adopt LEDs by offering instant savings including $10 off a bulb, reducing bulb costs to as little as $1.99 (in select areas).

Batteries Plus Bulbs, the nation’s largest provider of batteries and light bulbs, have a great selection of LEDs to buy if you considering an eco-friendly lightbulb makeover! They offer a great selection of A-shape, recessed and decorative LED bulbs but we have started by replacing our A-shape 60W bulbs.

The A-shape (classic series) are a comparable swap for most standard 60W bulbs and comes in a variety of shades. This is the most common type of bulb found in table and floor lamps.

The A-shape bulbs illuminate 240 degrees Soft White, omnidirectional lighting. The Duracell Ultra LED bulbs we are using use only 8.5W to produce the same light as a 60 Watt, A19 incandescent. They are also designed and rated for use in enclosed fixtures.

So don't go another day wasting energy and money! Spring clean your light bulbs this Spring and replace them with LED bulbs from Batteries Plus Bulbs! Batteries Plus Bulbs is the nation’s largest and fastest-growing franchise for batteries, light bulbs, and related accessories and services like Device Repair!

You can purchase LED Bulbs from your local Batteries Plus Bulbs store.
