Oh...my Ultimate Family Vacation...not so many words but to me they carry such a big meaning!! I have been dreaming of the "Ultimate Family Vacation" since I was little. See, I love to travel, but I haven't had the chance to get off the North American continent yet. And at different parts of my life, the "Ultimate Family Vacation" has meant many things to me. When I was in High School, going to another state with friends would have been an "Ultimate Vacation". After I got married, my honeymoon was my Ultimate Family Vacation, and now that I have been married for awhile and have a child, any vacation is a "Ultimate Family Vacation"!!!! :) I am just happy to get out of the house at this point! :) Funny how life changes us, isn't it?
But actually, deep down, in my traveling self, there is a dream still for that Ultimate Family Vacation. I am excited to someday travel all over the country with my family - husband and kids. But my Ultimate Family Vacation at this point in my life would be just with my husband. We would take a cruise around the world! I know that is pretty ultimate, huh? But truthfully, that is what I would do. We have always wanted to travel all over the world and we love cruises so it would be perfect. There are cruises (I have checked...many times!) that go to different points all over the world! I love that! I could experience all the different cultures, see which ones I like best, and enjoy the fun of a cruise ship! It sounds pretty ULTIMATE to me!!!
Now, I hope someday this vacation actually does happen. But for now, I am super excited to go to Las Vegas with my husband in 3 weeks....any vacation at this point is ULTIMATE! :)
