Author of the captivating novel "Side by Side," Jana Kelley is a Texan who hardly ever lives in Texas. Raised in Southeast Asia, Jana developed a love for cross-cultural living early in life. Her love for writing came soon after. Jana returned to Texas to attend East Texas Baptist University. She and her husband married a month after she graduated, and by their second anniversary, they were living in a remote African town. After 13 years living in Africa and the Middle East, Jana, her husband, and their three boys moved to Southeast Asia where they currently live.

My Opinion

This is the 3rd book in the series and you definitely want to read the first two before reading this one! I did and they are all so good and will help you know the background of the characters.

Learning about the culture in Sudan and Saudi Arabia were so interesting and eye-opening to me. This book was a great finale to the series! This series really was life changing and made me be thankful for the little things in my life that I often take for granted!

Jana Kelley is a great author and it is so amazing that this book is based on true events! What a life she has led!
