Needing a change of scenery, Natalia leaves her home in Spain and relocates with her stepmother to sun-soaked Florida. But she didn’t realize just how far a new school, a new culture, and a new lifestyle would push her out of her comfort zone.
One of her biggest surprises comes from Brian, a pastor’s son with an adorable smile, who loves God with a sincerity that astounds Natalia. She doesn’t want to fall for him, but she can’t seem to avoid him long enough to get him out of her mind.
Love is the last thing Natalia wants. Even so, God has her right where she belongs.
My Opinion
When I saw that Krista McGee had come out with another book in her series of characters, I knew I had to read it! I have really enjoyed the other two, First Date and Starring Me and I just knew I would enjoy this one too! But no worries, if you haven't read the first two, this book can be read as a stand alone without getting confused! And I definitely enjoyed this book! This book was a nice simple read but it also really drew me in and kept my attention. It was great to see the characters from the other books make appearances. I really liked her modern adaptation of the story of Ruth from the Bible and it was a great reminder for teenagers to grow up in the Lord and always keep him the focus!
If you have a struggling teenager or want to get your teenager a great book as they leave for college or another life changing event, I definitely recommend Right Where I Belong to help them remember where they belong: in God's arms and always in his care!
