Whether it’s keeping out the winter drafts or guarding against summer heat, most homeowners know the challenge of maintaining a comfortable living environment while watching their budget. Air leaks from drafty windows, gaps and cracks around the house can cause even a well-insulated home’s energy bills to soar.
However, air sealing a home with Touch ‘n Foam DIY insulating foam sealants is an easy and inexpensive way for homeowners to improve energy efficiency and home comfort year-round. The bulk of energy loss in a home comes from dozens of small holes, cracks and gaps inside and outside that allow air leakage.
Touch ‘n Foam products help control airflow in and out of homes by filling gaps and cracks in the home's interior and exterior, which helps maintain a consistent temperature year round while lowering utility bills. 38% of home energy dollars go right out the window – literally. The dozens of small holes and cracks around a typical home allow air leakage and cause the bulk of energy loss. In fact, adding up all the holes in the average home results in a giant 5’ hole in the wall - that’s the equivalent of keeping a door open all winter or summer long. However, air sealing a home with Touch ‘n Foam’s insulating foam sealants is one of the easiest and inexpensive ways for homeowners to improve energy efficiency and home comfort year-round .
My Opinion
We live in a VERY OLD house!! In the summer I feel heat pouring through the cracks and the ants are everywhere and in the winter our house never feels warm and cold air blows through the crack! When I saw that Touch 'n Foam offers insulating foam sealant, I immediately thought of cooler summers and warmer winters!
I am really hoping once winter comes around, I can notice the difference after using the sealants! I hate knowing money is literally going out the windows, doors and through the cracks!
Touch ‘n Foam’s MaxFill Maximum Expanding Sealant is ideal for filling in larger cracks and gaps. This super-expanding foam creates an airtight, weather-resistant bond that seals out drafts around gaping baseboards, sill plates, siding edges, plumbing stacks and other big sealant jobs around the house. MaxFill is formulated with renewable energy resources, which replace the petroleum-based raw materials found in other foam. I love that it is made from renewable resources!!
Drafty windows and doors are a common culprit when it comes to soaring energy bills and compromising home comfort. Touch ‘n Foam’s No-Warp Window & Door Sealant provides a quick and easy solution to this age-old problem. No-Warp is a low-pressure foam, specially formulated for use around window and door frames.
Touch 'n Foam is such an easy fix and such a quick money saver! I think pretty much every house has cracks somewhere, so everyone can use these sealants!
I recommend Touch 'n Foam insulating foam sealants for all houses. As fall approaches, weather will cool down and heat will rush out through all the cracks in your house! Prevent wasted money and high heat bills this coming winter with Touch 'n Foam!
Buy It: Touch ‘n Foam products are available nationwide at many home and hardware stores, and retails for about $5 per can.
Win It: Touch 'n Foam is generously offering (3) Touch 'n Foam products mentioned above (No-Warp, HomeSeal and MaxFill sealants) to a lucky winner!
