My sons wet the bed until they were 4. The Goodnights were great because they were both too big to fit into pull ups so the good nights were a great option to have.
I am worried about potty training my daughter and her having accidents- I can remember having a hard time at night:(
We are just starting to potty train, I'm worried about nighttime accidents. These seem like they'd be helpful!
I am in the midst of potty training now and it is rough. She has many accidents at night. She sleeps so sound that she doesn't even know she has to go. She gets upset sometimes with it as well.

i learned, that in spite of all the hype etc, that the only "cure" for bedwetting is patience and time

My son went through a stage where he would wet his bed a few nights a week. We finally realized that he was just sleeping so hard he didn't wake up when he needed to go. So we started making him stop drinking a few hours before bed time and made him use the bathroom before going to sleep. It worked great!

While potty training my now 5 year old, he would do awesome during the day, yet wet at night still. We tried every trick, including withholding water prior to bed. Nothing worked. We tried pull ups t night finally and it did the trick cause he hated the feeling of a wet pull up.

I learned on the goodnites site that their s/m size goes from 38-65 lbs and clothing size 4-8! Thats a good range that they can stay in 1 size unlike training pants and diapers where you buy a good supply of them and they grow out of that size before you even finish the supply off that you bought!
I learned that bedwetting usually runs in the family and that will eventually go away (most of the time)
I messed up on my twitter name on the entry form. I follow you under @aes529. sorry, thank you!
An experience I had with bedwetting was when I switched from diapers to pull ups she thought they were more like underwear and didn't wet the bed at night anymore
1 out of every 9 kids wets the bed.

The fit of goodnights is superior to other over night pull ups. My daughter due to a disability is still in them at age 14 and I am so pleased with the product.

learned:Will GoodNites® Underwear work in conjunction with bedwetting medications?
While GoodNites® Brand does not endorse medication and you should consult your physician about medications, for those who choose to try bedwetting medications, GoodNites® Underwear offer reassurance while the dosage is adjusted to fit your child's needs. Also, when the doctor begins to take your child off medication, they're a good backup plan until success is reached.
our 4 yo son was wetting the bed every night so he wore a pull up. then one day he woke up and the pull up had chafed his legs and it hurt. we told him it's because he has to wear the pull up to bed because he wets the bed. right then and there he declared he would use the potty at night and not wet his bed so he wouldn't have to wear another hurting pullup again...and it worked!
My son was a bedwetter until he was probably 7 or 8. Luckily it resolved itself :)
I learned that its best for them to go to the potty before bedtime so they know not to let their bladder stay full

My daughter is 4.5 and we just FINALLY got over the bed wetting. She was day trained for about 2 years before we finally got the night training thing down. It took a lot of patience and waking up in the middle of the night. Now my son is 3 and working on the same thing... no end in sight. Hopefully GoodNites can help him!

One useful tip I learned from the GoodNites site is to minimize children's anxiety at bedtime by having a ritual (like reading the same story or singing the same song) and surrounding them with comfortable images (such as their favorite TV or movie character in decor, bedding, etc.). Thanks!

the Goodnights are great for bigger kids. My older daughter wore them at night even after a while of fully being potty trained. She liked the designs and that they looked like real shorts
Definitely considering them for my younger daughter too

We have just succeeded in potty training my son during the day but are still working on overnight. So many mornings he wakes up wet-and regular pull-ups don't always hold everything! That means lots and lots of laundry lately. I'll have to try the overnights...it'd make life a lot easier!

According to an article on the site "Training pants are intended for young kids who are still making frequent daytime trips to the bathroom while they are potty training. GoodNites® Underwear are meant for growing children ages 4 and up who need extra protection at night due to frequent or occasional bedwetting."

My niece just stopped wearing goodnites. They were a life saver for my sister and for my nieces' peace of mind. She wore these for many years and they really helped her out. thank you!
I learned that the key is for the child to realize that the bladder is getting full even while asleep, and either tighten up the muscles to hold in the urine or get up to use the bathroom. Though parents can help “set the stage” for success, the final development of this ability will occur on the child’s own schedule and can’t be rushed.
I learned that most training pants fit toddler sizes up to 3T or so. GoodNites® Underwear are available in sizes 4-14

Bedwetting runs in my family so I am just trying to be patient with my son, encourage him and not make him feel bad about accidents, and Goodnight have been great for those times when. He has a setback.
My nephew sleeps so soundly he sometimes wets the bed without realizing it. My sister walks him to the bathroom a couple hours after he goes to bed to minimize the chance of a bed wetting accident.

I tried to force potty training on my daughter when she was 2 and we had so many accidents during the day and at night I feel like when I finally relaxed and didn't stress about it, is when it finally happend. we love to use goodnights.
My son uses Goodnites and he is almost 8. He's been potty trained for a while of course, but he just can't seem to wake up to use the bathroom at night.
I've learned he's not alone and there are lots of older kids out there just like him.
My middle son was a bed wetter. We finally figured out that he was such a sound sleeper that he couldn't wake himself up if he needed to go. I started setting my alarm for 3AM and getting him up. After about a month he had trained himself to wake up.

I learned from the goodnites site that they have discreet sizes up to size 14. That's amazing! Bed wetting runs in our family. One of my brothers, a cousin and myself were all 3 b/w'ers in our generation. Trust me when I tell you that the options available to us were not as discreet or comfortable when we were that age. We all quit at around the time we started puberty. I really hate to hear parents acting like their kids are just being lazy when they wet the bed. The embarrassment that a child feels when they've wet the bed is not something that they'd choose to endure if they had that choice.
I'm really glad that companies like GoodNites are talking awareness and bringing comfortable alternatives to children these days. I often have worried that one of my children will be bed-wetters and it makes me feel better knowing that if they are, then GoodNites is there for us!
I learned that they are designed to look like underwear

Bad experience I've had is taking my daughter to a job interview with me. They were okay with me bringing her since I had no one to watch her. Anyway the interview was forever long and she fell asleep in the floor. I glanced over and she had did #1 all over the floor. I was so embarassed hoping no one saw it. There was a room of about 9 of us. I got up slowly to try not to draw more attention to the situation. I saw paper towels and grabbed some up. Blocked the area while waking my daughter up. I hurry and rushed her to the bathroom. Lucky me I had no extra clothes either! This is one of the worse experiences of bedwetting ever only thing was it wasn't in her bed!

My daughter is almost 8 and still wets the bed.. and we are starting to get self conscious. I feel bad for her as she doesn't want to spend the night at friends because of it. :(
I have a 15 year old partially paralyzed daughter (transverse myelitis) and have had to buy Goodnights for years. They have helped tremendously at night with accidents! She is not nearly as embarrased when wearing Goodnights to bed if an accident does occur.
My daughter begs to wear her panties to bed but she is just not ready. GoodNites are a good compromise

Bedwetting may be caused by one or more factors. These factors include poor bladder control, spastic bladder conditions, stress, trauma, urinary infection, increased fluid intake, diabetes mellitus or, in a small percentage of cases, a serious disease or illness involving the spinal cord or muscles of the pelvis. The most common cause of bedwetting, however, may typically be due to a child's bladder not growing as fast as the rest of his body.
i never knew constipation could cause bedwetting...who knew?
