The reason I love this show is because Kyra Sedgwick (as Brenda Johnson) is so powerful without compromising her femininity! I really admire those characteristics in a woman and I strive to be powerful but yet feminine at the same time! She really knows how to use both sides of herself in the show - she is powerful when she needs to demand attention and respect and she displays her feminine side when she shows compassion and care for others and also in the way she dresses and cares about her appearance! She doesn't compromise either part of her and I really admire her balance between the two personality traits and the respect that she demands!
