X-treme Geek Review and Giveaway

X-treme Geek is a company that wants to provide fun gadgets and products for those geeky cravings and hi-tech needs.

Their purpose at X-treme Geek is to satisfy your geeky cravings for the latest hi-tech electronic gadgets, performance computer parts, games, and unique collectibles. They specialize in a large selection of innovative products that are slightly unusual, sometimes hackable, and certainly ingenious.

My Opinion

I generously received the Infrared Non-Contact Thermometer with Laser Sight. By measuring infrared radiation, the MicroTemp thermometer can tell you the temperature of any surface with the touch of a button.

Lightweight and portable, it's useful for lots of do-it-yourself projects, including PC maintenance, automotive inspection, HVAC applications, food prep, metallurgy and much more. It requires 2AAA batteries and they are included.

My husband is an "x-treme geek" because he has been asking for this non-contact thermometer for car work FOREVER!! He was SO excited to receive this and immediately starting measuring me and my son's temperatures! :) It was really easy to use (even I figured it out!) and is really useful for so many things, beyond just car repair! Uh oh...now I sound like an "x-treme" geek too! :)

Our favorite product from X-treme Geek was the Micro Mosquito 3.0 Indoor R/C. We are major suckers for helicopters in our house! My husband loves flying them, my son loves saying "helicopter" and watching daddy fly it, and mommy loves watching daddy crash it! :)

This helicopter is small on Size, but big on Precision Flights! Based on the design of the Bladerunner helicopter series, this three channel digital proportional control helicopter is the most stable and precise helicopter RC system available. Its minuscule mosquito profile fits in the palm of your hand, is lightweight, and highly maneuverable.

The inner-workings of the helicopter are visible through its body for a truly interactive experience. It comes ready to fly and includes everything needed to be flying within minutes: R/C transmitter, flight battery, charger, instructions.

It really did have a very unique structure and shape and really looked like a giant mosquito! It was the most stable and accurate helicopter we have ever had, but it did take awhile for my husband to get the hang of it! So far it has survived its few crashes and seems pretty stable and durable! It is definitely a HUGE hit in our house though!

I recommend X-treme Geek and their "geeky" products for all geeks out there!
