It is a great question especially at my son's age because on the rough days sometimes I don't quite feel his love. Between the spit up, screaming, crying, and whining, sometimes love gets lost in the day. So I had to really sit and ponder this question. This is what I believe he would say...
"Mommy, love is when I kiss my bear when I wake up from naps (over and over and over)! I love that bear - he cuddles with me every sleepy time!"
"Love is when I say 'Dada, dada, dada... over and over again all day long because I love Daddy so much and I miss him when he is gone all day long!"
"Love is my great big smile when you feed me my favorite foods - banana, PB & J sandwich, chex cereal, and you let me taste what you are making for dinner! You always know what I love to eat!"
"Love is when I yank on your sleeve and say please when I want you to play with me! I love you so much that I love when you get off your computer or stop what you are doing and come down to my level and play, read or cuddle with me!"
"Love is reaching only for you when I get hurt because I know only mommy's kisses fix and make my owies feel better!"
"Love is that great, big, slobbery kiss and hug I give you everytime you ask for one and even when I just feel like kissing you! I love making you smile, Mommy!"
