Rings are quite popular in our house...because my husband has had to get a new ring THREE TIMES!!! :)
He first lost his original wedding ring on our second day of our honeymoon...three days after we got married!!! Can you believe it? (And he always said I would be the one to lose mine!!)
He lost it while we were scuba diving in Key West, Florida. He came up to the surface and I was like, "WHERE IS YOUR RING??!!!". I couldn't believe it! It is now hidden treasure somewhere for another diver to find! :)
He didn't like the feeling of not having it on so the next day we were in Cozumel and we bought a new silver ring from a jewelry store (for $20!!!) It was a great steal and he finally had a ring again! :)
A couple years later (maybe more like one!) he had lost some weight so the ring had gotten very big on his finger. One day he came inside the house and declared his ring was gone again and he had no idea where it went!! WoW!!!! :)
So we searched and searched and searched and never found it. Therefore, we had to head back to the jewelers and buy his original designed ring again. And he better not lose this one, that is for sure! :)
Just a side note: a couple weeks after we bought his THIRD ring, I found his SECOND ring under the seat in our car!!! (Right where I told him to look originally!!) So now we have a back-up at least! :)

Wow I thought my husband was bad. He has been through 3 rings but it took him a few years to lose the first. It was in his wallet (to prevent electrocution while at work)and his wallet got stolen. (the second a pretty silver ring I bought for him from the indian jewelery shop)Then his second he lost while stocking mattresses at the furniture store he worked at. He was 20 ft off the ground when it shot off his finger and was never seen again. He had lost his marriage version of the freshmen 15 and that is why it shot off his hand. He better not lose his third, because I am still wearing the one we said our vows with 12 years later.
