The debut national recording, Beautiful Design, from worship leader/songwriter Jason Bare releases January 18, 2011.

All the songs on the CD were co-penned by Bare, including a song he co-wrote with his cousin that sparked Bare’s desire to take his music to a national level. His cousin died of a medically-induced overdose last year in an attempt to deal with her addictions. Bare had lost the song many years before, but found it the day she died and sang it for her funeral.

“Through that song, Amanda wanted to share her wounds so that someone else might find God’s redeeming grace,” says Bare. “That’s Amanda’s legacy in my life and I feel a sense of urgency to tell anyone who will listen that God’s love and forgiveness is readily available in their lives regardless of what they’ve done.”

My Opinion

I had never heard of Jason Bare before receiving and listening to Beautiful Design. I am now a big fan!

I love the tone of his voice and the songs give a great message! I love the song, "For the First Time" - it really gives a great reminder about what Christmas is really about!

I recommend Beautiful Design for all Christians that want a new beautiful Christian album to listen to. This album sends a great message and has beautiful songs!
