Raising the Candy Bar Review

Raising the Candy Bar is the latest addition to Illinois Nut & Candy Home of Fantasia Confections. For over a quarter of a century Illinois Nut & Candy (formerly Illinois Nut Outlet) has been doing just that: raising the bar. Since September 2004 Melissa and David's goal has been to constantly raise the candy bar by not only being the largest Kosher candy store in the Midwest but by trying to be the largest niche candy store as well. They offer Gluten Free, Lactose Free, Sugar Free, Organic, Vegan Friendly - all under Kosher supervision.

They have over 600 confections from apple rings to zebra bark. Their expansive selections of nuts are freshly roasted and their dried fruits come from around the world. Their highly trained chocolatiers combined with their experience and their valued recipes have given them world renowned confections such as their own hand made English Toffee as well as their Taffy Apples. Their chocolate confections include miniatures filled with crèmes, barks, dipped glazed fruit, turtles, rocky road bars, and two separate lines of truffles their traditional line and their signature line for the more discriminating pallets. All of their chocolates are available in both a smooth creamy milk chocolate and in a rich semi sweet chocolate. What truly separates them is their commitment to customer service. Their goal is to make your experience a sweet one.

My Opinion

I generously received the Deluxe English Toffee Apple Without Nuts. They have taken the Taffy Apple to a new level. This apple starts out with caramel and then is covered in chocolate and then is coated in their own English Toffee without nuts. This taffy apple is Kosher Pareve, lactose free and yummy!

This English Toffee Apple was so delicious! I can't even begin to explain! My husband and I shared it and it was the best tasting apple I have ever had!!!

I recommend Raising the Candy Bar for all your sweets! They have the greatest selection of candies and sweets I have ever seen and they will definitely make your taste buds very happy!
