Little One Books Review

I recently reviewed a book from Little One Books for my son's birthday bash. But I loved their book selection and site so much, that I really wanted to recommend them to all of you as great gifts this year for that little book reader in your life!

My Opinion

I graciously received the book Tickle, Tickle! In Helen Oxenbury's Tickle, Tickle adorable baby characters find themselves in situations that will be very familiar to you and your little one. The book focuses on very simple scenes of playing, bathing, and brushing hair, and your child will love to watch babies their age engage in these common activities. The text is kept to a few words per page, which makes the lovely artwork central to the child's enjoyment of the book.

I loved reading this book to my son. It was perfect for his age because it was short enough that it held his attention and he loved looking at the babies! He also loved hearing all the actions the babies were doing and getting tickled at the end! :)

I love that they have different races and colors of children in the book! It really exposes my son to the fact that there are different colors and races of children and God loves them all! I think it is really important to instill that fact from little on!

I recommend Little One Books and their great selection of books, CD's, and DVD's to give to that special child this year! You will find that perfect present that will not only help you bond with your child but help them learn too!
