One eskimO Concert Review

So I was so lucky to get the chance to go to the One eskimO concert last night! I was so excited to get out with my husband and do something adult-like! :o)

I have previously reviewed their debut album (click here to read it again) and had loved the catchiness of the songs and smooth, relaxing vibe they had! Just to refresh your memories...

One eskimO is a critically-acclaimed English band fronted by singer-songwriter Kristian Leonitiou and includes musicians Pete Rinaldi (guitar), Jamie Sefton (bass, horns) and Adam Falkner (drums). They currently have the #1 adult alternative song called 'Kandi' which you may have already heard since it's the most played song on all adult rock radio four weeks and counting.
Billboard Magazine calls One eskimO's self-titled debut album "...catchy, ambient pop." and Los Angeles Times Magazine hails the song "Kandi" a beautiful. aspirational track." The album is available in stores now and the band is on tour May/June/July supporting Michael Franti and in addition to festivals and headlining shows.
 

The concert started out with a band called World Minus One and they really started the night off for us. They were upbeat and got us in the rock and roll mood!

Then came One eskimO. They were even better than their CD! I loved that I could sing along with the songs from the album and they even added in some new twists on some of their songs! They are really talented! One guy looked like he was playing like five instruments at once and another guy played the guitar and the trumpet! They were really entertaining and fun to watch!

It was a lot of fun to see them live and I definitely recommend their music and going to see one of the concerts if you can!

My Opinion

I was so excited to finally get a new scale. I didn't know how much I could trust my old one's reading (or maybe that was just something I told myself to feel better :o) but I figured this new weight loss journey deserved a new scale!

I immediately liked the stylish look of this scale. I loved even more that it fit right with the look of my bathroom and wasn't too large or too small. The LCD display was very bright and allows you to even weigh yourself in the dark! :o)

The minute you step on the scale it tells you your weight - no waiting for it to calculate - it goes right to it!

I recommend this scale for all people on their weight loss journey and for everyone that needs a good bathroom scale for any reason! It is perfect for those everyday weigh-ins or those not so everyday weigh-ins!

My Opinion

When I first opend up my package and saw this diaper, I knew I would love it. I immediately saw how thick and soft it was and knew it would become my go-to nighttime diaper - and it has!

Besides being extremely absorbent, it is super soft on the inside and I just love that! It is so comfy on my son with the stretchy sides and top and I love that I can use it as a pocket diaper (which worked so great for night!) or just as an AI2 during the day! I love multi-tasking diapers!

This is one of the best fitting, most absorbent and leak proof diapers I have tried or own! It is now my go-to guy for all kinds of situations! :o)

My Opinion

I personally love to wear a tank top under most of my shirts. It helps with cleavage showing, the muffin top, and so much more! However, many of my tank tops I wear are bulky or ride up. I was definitely excited to try out the Autrepeau Camisole and give it a try!

The first thing I noticed was how lightweight it was! It was so thin and soft!

I put it on and immediately noticed how it fit comfortably and I loved that it also had adjustable straps! It worked great under my shirts and covered and smoothed out all the right areas! :o)

I recommend Autrepeau camisole for all women that need a break from itchy, stiff or low cut shirts!

Oaklawn Legacy Book Review

I recently received a great historical fiction book called Oaklawn Legacy from Dorrance Publishing Co.

Joy and despair follow the bewitching Rania Cameron throughout her young life, but this is just part of the tapestry of love, deception, and secrets that comprises Oaklawn Legacy.

Scottish aristocrat Andrew McLain arrives in this antebellum South intending only to attend to the transition of his uncle’s plantation estate after his death. However, his life becomes irrevocably bound to Rania’s as war, disease, and prejudice threaten the holdings of their neighboring estates.

Despite marrying her true love Jeremy Leighton, Rania finds her heart also belongs to Andrew. In the midst of Civil War and the challenges of the Reconstruction, Rania struggles to maintain the families’ plantations, overcome prejudice, honor family ties, and remain true to heart, despite its uncertainty. Spanning twenty years, Oaklawn Legacy is a story of ambition, loyalty, passion, revenge, human nature, and destiny in which the characters are defined as much by circumstance and fate as by their own free will.

My Opinion

This book was a great historical fiction novel! I love historical fiction so this was right up my alley! It had a great storyline and was very easy to read. However, it wasn't too long that you would get sick of it!

I love the love storyline along with the picture the author drew of past history!
I recommend this book to all historical fiction lovers!

My Opinion

I chose to review the one size pocket diaper from Preston's Pants in neon green! It was quite bright and I loved the color! I will never lose my son now! :o)

But most of all, I loved all the unique features Preston's Pants offer on the diapers! First of all, the material inside was so soft because of the colored, undyed, unbleached, stretchy bamboo fleece inner. I just love knowing that soft material is against my son's sensitive bottom!

It was also SUPER helpful that they had overlapping snaps because my son has a tiny little waist and I seem to never get a good fit. However, with these overlapping snaps and the 5 snap settings I got a great fit everytime! Plus, they will be great when I have to diaper a newborn or diaper my son when he is way bigger!

This diaper was very absorbent and held leaks great! It held up perfectly overnight and during naptime (with a couple extra inserts) and it was just plain fun to put such a bright diaper on him! :o)

I recommend Preston's Pants diapers for all mothers with tiny-waisted babies - you would love the overlapping snaps! But these diapers are great for everyone and suitable for any part of your baby's day! I also love that they can make a custom diaper for your baby or as a great gift!
