As a mother, I am sure you can relate to the fact that when your baby was (or is currently) a baby, there never seemed to be a burp cloth around when you need one! No matter how many I buy, it seems like they are either all dirty and getting washed or are just lost somewhere in baby land!

My Opinion

Like I said before, I was so happy and relieved to receive these burp cloths - especially when I saw how big they were! I knew that they were going to come in handy for lots of messes, spit ups and runny noses - and boy was I ever right!

I recently took these on a trip we took to visit Grandma's house and these cloths carried their own weight big time! They were so soft and therefore able to wipe his runny nose, tough enough to clean up his spit up and slobber or spilled food, and big enough to handle all the messes I threw at it! Plus, they did it all while being cute!

The little embroidery on each towel gives it a touch of cuteness and made me really feel like they were made with love!

I recommend La Jems Burp Cloths to every mother out there with a small child! They have so many uses and are so versatile and cute at the same time! They are great for boys and girls and can be embroidered to fit your little one's personality!

Ella's Kitchen Baby Food Review and Giveaway

I am having fun trying all kinds of different baby food flavors with my little guy!

The latest brand that we tried is Ella's Kitchen Stage 1 baby food. These are very different from any other baby food on the supermarket shelves for not only do they contain nothing, absolutely nothing, but pureed organic fruits and vegetables. They have been gently pasteurized and popped into their unique pouches that are so easy when you are out or at home. They are healthy and handy, pure and simple!

They only use whole organic fruits and vegetables - never concentrates! They always use avoid using concentrates because they want to keep 'processing' down to the minimum required to ensure their products are safe for babies.

My Opinion

Ella's Kitchen baby foods and fruit smoothies were actually very good to eat straight from the pouch! However, I used them mostly to mix in with my little boy's rice cereal and he liked it that way too!

I think these would be great for trips, field trips, school lunches, and a quick snack! They are easy to carry around, easy to drink and resealable! Plus, they tasted great and are an easy way to eat servings of fruits and veggies on the go!

I recommend Ella's Kitchen fruit pouches to all people - big or small, adults or children! They are great as baby food but also as a snack for adults and older children!

Pros: organic, easy to carry around and to eat on-the-go, resealable, taste good, use whole fruits/veggies - never concentrates

Cons: I liked the concept and the taste - no cons!

My Opinion

These slippers were so cute and so soft! I loved them from the minute I opened the package and felt how soft they were! I knew my son would like them too!

And he did! It made crawling and standing a lot easier since he didn't slip around thanks to the nice non-skid soles. Plus, his little feet weren't so cold anymore while he was near the air conditioner. Best of all, they were so cute on him - the pretty blue color matched his eyes! :o)

I recommend BePe Baby's Fleece slippers for all babies and toddlers! They don't get in the way of crawling or walking but are cute, non-skid, easy to put on and off and they keep those little feetsies warm through all seasons! 

Pros: easy to put on, stays on with elastic heels, soft material, keeps feet warm during all seasons, non skid, cute designs available!

Cons: I didn't find anything that I didn't like about these slippers!

1. My son is now sleeping until 7 each morning! (opposed to him waking up sometime around 6-6:30)

2. I have a garden plot and can finally grow some fresh organic veggies for my family! I love fresh garden grown veggies and herbs..now if I could only find the time to plant! :o)

3. My sister, her husband and my little godson are coming to visit this weekend! I am so excited to see them again after too many long months apart!

4. It is a holiday weekend which means my hubby is home with me an extra day...and it is a short week next week!

5. I get to have a little mini family reunion in two weeks when my little sis graduates from high school! It will be fun to see everyone and have my little guy play with his cousins and auntie and uncles! I am so blessed with a great family!

My Opinion

Certain Dri Solid Antiperspirant Review

I sometimes have a real sweating problem, especially in the summer or while working out - and especially when doing both at the same time!

Therefore, I was eager to try the new Certain Dri antiperspirant. Certain Dri® is the number one over-the-counter antiperspirant recommended by doctors for treating excessive perspiration.

While other over-the-counter antiperspirants claim to be “clinical strength” and “waterproof” the Certain Dri formulations are the strongest available, providing 72-hours of protection with each application.

My Opinion

I was a little skeptical going into trying this deodorant because I have tried other antiperspirants that have claimed to help excessive sweaters and other similar claims and they have not worked any better than regular deodorants or antiperspirants.

However, I think this one did stand up to its claims! I put it on after my shower at night and then reapplied it in the morning before I went on a walk in the hot sun. I did not sweat excessively or even sweat at all during or after the walk or any other time during the hot day!

I will definitely be using this deodorant when I want to make sure I won't sweat through my clothes - on a nice dinner, when I am wearing nice clothes, or when it is really hot out!

I recommend Certain Dri antiperspirant to anyone who needs to fight heavy sweating or perspiration - men or women!

Pros: easy to apply, long lasting antiperspirant

Cons: it did fight sweating but it didn't fight the smell of sweat - I definitely smelled by the end of the day!

Lily Lolo Mineral Cosmetics Review

Ever since I became a mother, I don't dress up much, wear makeup, or go out very often. One of the main reasons (besides being tired and so busy) is that I worry about the ingredients in my makeup. I once wore some blush and after holding my son for awhile, he started to get a little rash on his face. I vowed then to never wear makeup again until I knew it had safe and non-irritating ingredients in it - for my safety and my son's.  

Well, I guess now I won't have any more excuses not to get dressed up and put a little makeup on because I recently received some Lily Lolo Mineral Eyeshadow and Eyeliner. What makes this so exciting for me is that Lily Lilo makeup is free from nano particles, bismuth oxychloride, synthetic dyes, synthetic fragrances, petrochemicals, and parabens! They have only 100% natural makeup! Finally, a safe and non-toxic makeup for me to wear!

My Opinion

I was so excited to receive this makeup! I received the soft brown eye shadow, mudpie eye shadow and brown liner - a great summer look!

The eye shadow came in cute little containers that had three little holes that allowed the mineral powder to come out just a little at a time! I love that! I no longer have to worry about opening my makeup bag and finding eye shadow everywhere! I also loved the colors and the way it went on. It brushed on so smoothly and with just a hint of sparkle! And I no longer have to worry about makeup irritating my eyes with harsh chemicals!

The eye liner was a soft pencil that really smudged easily! I love that because I usually have a hard time smudging eye liner pencils that I have used before! And once again, I did not have to worry about what was going in and by my eyes because it is free from harsh chemicals, lead, parabens and preservatives and is 100% natural! It is even suitable for vegetarians!

I recommend this makeup to every woman! They have all the selection of makeup you would want or need and you NEVER have to worry about what is going on your skin and near your eyes again!

Pros: beautiful colors, easy to apply, free from harsh chemicals, lead, parabens, and preservatives, 100% natural, no spill containers for the eyeshadow

Cons: the eye liner pencil requires a sharpener (which I did not have on hand at the time), the eye liner tip is very soft and broke right away

Love Broke Through CD Review

Check out this new CD Love Broke Through by Jennifer Shaw!

Love Broke Through is Shaw's first national project, with six of the CD's ten songs either written or co-written by Shaw. The CD also includes a classical benediction that Shaw uses in all her concerts, "E'en So Lord Jesus Quickly Come".

The songs on Love Broke Through reflect the mountain of intense moments in Jennifer Shaw's life and the lessons learned in the midst of it all. Many of the songs that Jennifer penned for the CD were inspired not only by her years of despair (miscarriage, death of her father, son diagnosed with neurological condition) but with her encounters on various mission trips.

It was so easy to heat - you just stick it in the microwave and it was ready to use! And Oh... was it relaxing! The perfect combination of the heat and the lavendar immediately made me feel like I was in a spa!

I recommend these Warm Buddy Body Wraps to EVERYONE!!! They are especially great for stressed out, sore muscled, tired mothers who need a spa experience in the comfort of their own home! They are also really great for anyone who needs a heat pack or a cold pack along with a little aromatherapy on the side! :o)

Pros: easy to use as a heat pack or cool pack, the cover was sooo soft, nice big size to cover a lot of area, infused with lavender for extra calming, long heat hold, washable cover

Cons: the lavender is a little strong - I had to keep it in the bag because the smell overtook my house! :o)

I am addicted to lip balm...like seriously! So when I had a chance to check out the new Softlips PURE 100% Natural lip care products, I jumped on it!

My Opinion

It is like a happy family reunion! :o)

All of the lip products went on so smoothly and smelled so good too! Plus, I loved that some of them had SPF 15 in them - I hate when my lips burn when I am out on a walk with my son!

I recommend Softlips PURE 100% Natural lip care products to EVERYONE! These are great for men and women, children and teens! They are safe and natural so you won't have to worry about what is going into your child's mouth or yours!

Pros: no icky, toxic stuff (preservatives, phthalates, sulfates, parabens, mineral oil and gluten), goes on smoothly and hydrates my dry lips, great shine, tastes good too!

Cons: not much to say here - I love lip balms (natural ones) of all kind and now I can add these to my list!
