Right on The Walls Decal Review and Giveaway

Right on the Walls is a custom vinyl wall art and wall decal company. They create unique decorating solutions that let you add a personal touch to your space with creative vinyl art and decal decor - quickly, easily, and affordably.

Browse through hundreds of ideas available on their website, have their designers create something unique just for you, or create your own artwork! Vinyl wall art looks great on walls, floors, doors, vehicles, windows, and more! It is a great way to bring personality and expression to your space!

My Opinion
I have written before how much I love wall decals. They are just such a simple and easy way to make a huge difference in a room! They look so sharp and just brighten up any space in your house! Plus, I always love quotes and sayings!

Right on the Walls has the best selection of wall art and decals I have ever seen on a wall decal site. They had so many great choices and it was so hard to decide on just one! However, the site is really easy to navigate and all the designs are conveniently divided into categories like bathroom, family, kitchen, wedding, etc. It was so easy to search the category I wanted to look at and all the designs were so great!

I finally decided on a wall decal for our bathroom to go above our whirlpool tub. It says, "Happiness Is A Long Hot Bubble Bath". I love it! It looks so great in there and it was so easy to put up! It literally took like 10 minutes to do and our bathroom looks so fresh and decorated!
Our new wall decal in our bathroom
(sorry it is a little hard to see because it is white)
I recommend these Right on the Walls wall decals to everyone! This company is so helpful, nice and great to work with! Plus, their site is so organized and it makes it a lot easier to pick the perfect wall decal from their very vast selection. I believe there is a perfect decal for everyone on their site!

Pros: easy to put on, looks great, very organized and helpful site, best selection of wall decals I have ever seen on a decal website, great customer service

Cons: Nothing! I was happy with everything about my decal and their site!

I Have A Song CD Review

Shannon Wexelberg's new CD entitled I Have A Song (Discovery House Music) is inspired by the words of Habakkuk 3: 17-18. Shannon has been through some rough times in the last 12 months and she related with Habukkuk during those verses. She has felt sad, disappointed, frustrated and discouraged as she has faced infertility and a bad motorcyle accident involving her husband resulting in 23 broken bones and 3 surgeries! Even though nearly everything has been in a constant state of flux, Shannon has found herself in a place, spiritually, where she has never been before!

"It is hard to explain," she says, "but somehow the Lord helped me fix my eyes on Him even through the most difficult moments. I realized that even in the midst of this long litany of issues, I still had this joy bubbling up from inside me. I still had a song and it was really amazing."

I Have A Song, Shannon's fourth solo project, has the feel of a live worship service being conducted in Shannon's own living room. It is a very intimate, honest, and transformative project! It contains some congregational songs, but it also offers songs of ministry.

My Opinion

This cd was one powerful album full of inspiration, uplifting hymns, and words of encouragement and faith!

I loved every song on this album and played it over and over. It felt very similar to being at a worship service but at the same time full of songs that touched my heart and made me sing out loud!
I recommend this CD to all Christians! It is a reminder of the great blessings God has given us and inspires you to praise him through song!

Pros: great words that inspired me to sing along, great praise and worship songs for every Christian

Cons: Nothing! I loved it!

Buy It: You can buy I Have A Song on Shannon's website for $15

Still the One Book Review and Giveaway

THIS GIVEAWAY IS CLOSED

If you are in the mood for a great romance novel, I got a good one for you today!

Still the One by Robin Wells takes us to Chartreuse, Louisiana for a deeply moving story of forgiveness and second chances.

After Katie Charmaine's husband is killed in Iraq, all she has left is a closet full of his clothes, pictures all over the house, and fond memories. She not only lost her love, but her last chance to have the children she's always wanted.

That is until Zach Ferguson shows up in town...with the daughter Katie gave up for adoption 17 years ago! Zach is a Hollywood player who fights love and Katie's daugher Gracie is angry at the world and pregnant. Can these three forgive the hurts of the past and open their hearts to each other?

My Opinion
I was definitely in the mood for a great romance novel lately and I hit gold with "Still the One"! It had everything a great romance should: love, heartbreak, reunions, drama, and humor! I could barely put it down and read it constantly for 2 days straight!

It was easy to read and always had me on the edge of my seat (or wiping tears) wondering what was going to come next! Those books are the best kind!

I recommend this book to all women that love a good romance! However, this book contains many adult words and situations so I only recommend it to adults. This is not a children's/teenage romance book!

Pros: easy to read, nice small size book for easy holding, great storyline, great romance, kept me wanting to read more!

Cons: adult words and situations makes this a book to think twice about before letting your younger children/teens read it

Win It: Hatchett Books is generously offering (1) copy of Still the One to one lucky reader!

"The Real Thing" CD Review

"The Real Thing " is a new CD by Shannon Perry, a Christian singer, songwriter and speaker. This CD gave voice to many disappointments and triumphs that Shannon has experienced over the years. This ex-school teacher minces no words or feelings as she shares her life experiences through songs and through her "If the Shoe Fits" conferences. She finds that women especially relate to her journey, especially through songs like "Bad Hair Day" from this CD.

Shannon Perry earned her Master's Degree in Education, with an emphasis on Counseling. She was a public school teacher for over 14 years, then went into full-time ministry. She has recorded several albums, even performing with the Houston Symphony and at Carnegie Hall. She is a contributing writer for Crosswalk.com and WestSideStory.net, host of Grace in High Heels radio show on BlogTalkRadio.com, and she is the head of a national women's conference "If The Shoes Fit", which supports Dress For Success (a charitable organization that provides suits, career development and support to women entering the workforce who can't afford it on their own).

Her CD, The Real Thing, features songs that tie into the theme of her conferences, which are targeted towards women. The conferences include bible studies, small group gatherings, and now she has begun them specifically for tweens/teens, called "Don't Flip-Flop in your Walk with Jesus". And if all that activity wasn't enough, she is working on a book, If The Shoe Fits.

My Opinion
I am a big fan of great Christian music and I am so happy to add this CD to my collection! Shannon is really down to earth with her songs and she talks about subjects that all of us women can relate to in our daily lives and reminds us that God is here for us and will guide us through everything!

Her songs were very comforting and uplifted my day everytime I turned it on! I played the CD over and over and loved it more and more each time

I recommend "The Real Thing" CD to all people - especially Christian women. She sings about real subjects that we can all relate to and reminds us to look up at the cross and remember what our Savior did for us!

Pros: great songs with a great message, catchy and fun to listen to

Cons: Not one bad thing to say about this CD!

Buy It: You can purchase Shannon's CD "The Real Thing" at shannonperry.com for $15.00

If you would like to learn more about Shannon, visit her online at http://www.shannonperry.com/ or become a fan on Facebook, follow If The Shoe Fits on Twitter, and of course, purchase her CD.

Palm Leaf Plates Review and Giveaway

THE GIVEAWAY IS CLOSED

I like the concept of paper plates in my house - less dishes to wash, easy to clean up, easy to use. However, I hate the thought of all the waste I am creating and all the trees that are dying because of me!

So when I saw these Palm Leaf Plates, I knew these were a great option for me! They are so cool and the concept is great! Read all about them below and let me know what you think!

Palm Leaf Plates are made from a leaf! They are biodegradable and compostable and no trees are cut to make these - they are harvested from leaves that have falled on the forest floor!

Wondering how they are made? Well, first naturally discarded Adaka palm leaves are gathered from the forest floor and washed. They they are hand-stretched, flattened, and heat-pressed into shapes. Multiple shapes and sizes are cut from each leaf to reduce waste! Finally, the plates are dried in the sun! Pretty cool, huh?

My Opinion
These plates were so cool! It was seriously like eating off a palm leaf but more sanitary and sturdy! I felt so much better using and disposing of these plates compared to regular paper plates! I knew that trees weren't cut down for these and that they were made from fallen palm leaves that people were just going to throw away or walk over anyways!

Plus, they worked really well! They were sturdy - maybe even sturdier than paper or plastic plates - and were fun shapes! No more guilt as I ate my snacks or dinner off of these plates! :)

I recommend these Palm Leaf Plates to all people and families who are trying to cut down on using paper plates but still want an eco-friendly, biodegradable, and compostable option for dinner plates. You get all the benefits of disposable plateware without the harmful effects to nature and our Earth!

Pros: durable, biodegradable, compostable, no trees were harmed in making, lightweight but sturdy, many shapes and sizes available

Cons: not sure if you can microwave with them but other than that they are a great alternative to regular paper plates!

Buy It: You can purchase Palm Leaf Plates on Marx Foods website for $33.50 per 25 pieces / $77.25 per 100 pieces for a 9 1/2" diameter plate or $30.75 per 25 pieces / $68.95 per 100 pieces for a 6 3/4" - 7 1/4" diameter plate.

Uncommonly Cute Shirt Review and Giveaway

THIS GIVEAWAY IS CLOSED

As a mother of a little boy, it seems little boy's clothes are a lot harder to find and frankly not as cute as many little girls' clothes. So when I can find something super cute and practical for my little guy, I get SO excited!

Guess where I found his latest cute shirt (and one of my new favorites)? It is a great site called Uncommonly Cute and its name about says it all! Their shirts and onesies for newborns and babies are so cute and the new Uncommonly Cute shirt we received looks great on my little guy! They have a great selection for little boys - which makes me even happier!

They have these great sayings that you can put on a short sleeve shirt, long sleeve shirt, or onesie. Uncommonly Cute is inspired by trendy (but speechless) babies everywhere. At their site, you will find baby clothing that transcends the department store notion of what a child ought to look like and you can bring individual baby clothing into your little individual's closet! Their clothes are a perfect shower gift or a just a gift to your own little cutie!

My Opinion
It was so hard to choose just one shirt design out of all of the great selection for this review, but I finally settled on a short sleeve shirt for the summer that says, "Tuff Guy (Like My Daddy)". It fit my little guy's personality perfectly - he is definitely a little tuff guy - and has the bumps and bruises to prove it :) !

When I received the shirt, my first though was "It is so cute!". It was like a little miniature of something his daddy would wear and the material was breathable and movable! The shirt is 6-12 months size so it was a little big but yet it was comfortable and will last a long time! It didn't shrink in the wash and I couldn't wait to get it on him and show his daddy! He looked so old in it - and so cute! Check out the pictures! :)

I recommend Uncommonly Cute clothing to all mothers, soon-to-be mothers and all grandmothers...well basically anyone who loves cute clothes, loves buying cute clothes, or anyone who is looking for a great baby shower, birthday or Christmas gift!

Pros: so many cute choices, comfortable and easy to move around in, didn't shrink when washed, great selection of boy choices

Cons: people may like to have more of a size selection (instead of the wide span of 6-12 months) - maybe a 9 month size. However, I don't mind because it just means my son can fit in the shirt longer!

Buy It: You can purchase Uncommonly Cute clothing at the Uncommonly Cute website for $22.95 for a onesie or short sleeve T-shirt or $24.95 for a long sleeve T-shirt.

Plus, Uncommonly Cute is generously offering all of my readers the opportunity to save 10% on their orders at Uncommonlycute.com. The promotion code is: reviewstew and is good until May 31st. Buy Now and SAVE!

Interested in seeing more from Uncommonly Cute? Check them out and Follow (or "Like" Them) on Facebook and Twitter. You will love their designs!

Win It: Uncommonly Cute is generously offering (1) tee or onesie of your choice with free shipping -  that is a $32 Value
